Myself and my partner, and two friends stayed at this guest house the first weekend in September. Its not the best sign posted, take a sat nav!
The rooms were clean and individual, the pool and gardens beautiful!
On arrival all the staff were very helpful, helped us with our bags to he room, and very attentive with service whilst we were at the pool.
The owners live in the house from what i gathered, which slightly made me feel like i was staying with them rather than staying at a guest house.
On the saturday we went to a wedding and decided to leave our camera as it was too big for my handbag. We arrived back late on the saturday night and went straight to bed. On the sunday we woke up and decided to take the camera out with us. It was then that we discovered the camera was missing. We searched high and low and it was nowhere in the room. We went down to ask the staff if it had been removed from the room for any reason. The staff werent very helpful at this point and didnt seem to care that our camera had gone. We went out for lunch and when we came back the room had been cleaned and we gave the room another once over to find the camera... It was still gone. There was a different member of staff on later in the afternoon so we mentioned that the camera was missing. This member of staff said to us that nobody had been in he room and the cleaner had told him he had not cleaned... He had cleaned however, as the room was immaculate when we returned. We then left the hotel to visit the nearby town of Todi. As we were driving out of he car park i spotted my camera at the edge of the field adjacent to the car park!! I dont know how or why it was there but i was thankful to get it back! Luckily it was not damaged as the case was in my room and it had been raining!! After that ent mising i checked anything elsr had gone, my pandora bracelet had gone! I know i should have used the safe, but i assumed things ould be safe and a tiny safe cannot fit my purse passports, phones, jewellery and camera!
€195 a night was a little steep, would have been easier to swollow had my things not been taken!!
No afternoon snacks/sandwiches on offer either... Bit rubbish when in the middle of nowhere!

We stayed at this lovely B&B for 3 nights. The setting is spectacular - the large property has 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside. Each room is spacious, unique and beautifully decorated - a mix of modern, country design. What we liked most about staying here was that the setting provided a relaxing retreat from sightseeing. For those three days, our routine became sightseeing in the morning (Orvieto, Todi) and poolside relaxation in the afternoon.

The only thing about our stay that didn't meet our expectations was the dinner. For 40 euro per person, you can get a 4 course meal (wine extra). Since the B&B is located outside of town (about a 10 minute drive to Todi), we thought this would be convenient. We really wanted to love the food, but the truth is, it was quite bland and underwhelming (and we are not picky eaters). The best thing about the meal was being able to eat on the outdoor patio while watching the sun go down. The breakfast, on the other hand, was very good.

The other thing to point out is that the rooms are not air conditioned. Even though we were there in August, this wasn't a problem because it cools off at night and we were able to sleep with the windows open, which was actually nicer than having the air conditioning humming constantly.

All in all, it was a wonderful stay and we hope to come back here again in the future!

Tenuta is a magical place. It's elegant and yet informal in its' decor. The room we stayed in had extraordinary views of several valleys including lakes in the far distance and lots of vegetation. The bed was comfortable- a good night's sleep is assured. In the morning birdsong is everywhere. The bathroom was tasteful & modern.
Public areas are quite exceptional; there are many rooms where one can read, use a laptop, or just sit and chat. The dining room (where one has breakfast) is lovingly furnished; every detail is absolutely right.
Staff are most helpful and prompt is addressing any needs (e.g. making dinner reservations).

Room Tip: Corner rooms have absolutley fabulous views.

very beautiful place, on the top of the hill opposite another hill topped with medieval Todi, tranquility, serenity, olive groove hugged with fog in the morning... charming room design and open social place... it's just amazing!

Not easy to find this place even with GPS, I would recommend to arrive there not too late )))

The setting is spectacular with a gorgeous view of the Tiber Valley. The swimming pool is stunning. However, this place does not justify the price: the quality and presentation of the food is below the standard expected, presentations is slapdash, some of the courses were served barely warm. The rooms were uncomfortable, with a noisy ceiling fan and no airconditioning. Cleanliness is below par. At the price of Euros195, I would have expected better.

...... thought it was heavily over priced ( no air conditioning in our room and no drawers so I had to live out of my suitcase- which for 185 euros seems a bit much). Felt de trops- as though the owners simply tolerated having us as house guests. Can't however fault the location and the views are simply stunning, especially from the infinity pool. The food was not what I expected either- not good italian home cooking- and the breakfast a bit stingy and covered in wasps.

the hotel is a little out of town and hard to find, but once you get there you can indulge in an italian country house feeling. the rooms and the whole place have a very personal touch. the garden is delightful and the location is perfect to visit Orvieto, Assisi, Perugia and come back to the relaxing charm of the country side.
