Good food, excellent service. We were treated like we had been eating there for many years, like a part of the family of the owners. The food was served on the right time to the right person and tasted very good. The last night in Terracina we got to know that the director of Grand Hotel Palace are a regular guest at this restaurant, and we ounderstand why.

“Antonio is the most charming Italian I've ever seen”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

Hostaria is best place, where you can taste real Italian food. Antonio is the restaurateur of Hostaria and his sister is chef. He is very loud, laughs all the time, but he is very nice. Atmoshere in restorant is very cosy, home.
As for the dishes, you can find there many kinds of "macaronni", pasta, mussels, apperitives, vines and much more. Antonio can help you to do the right choice.
If you want to have a good lunch or dinner Hostaria is the best choice.

“Great place for a casual dinner with friends or family”
Reviewed September 6, 2011

This was one of 4 restaurants we dined at during our stay in Terracina. And we liked it a lot.

It is housed in a nice square of the town (probably one of the main ones), near a busy street (Via Roma). It is on the opposite side of the street from another place we ate at - Enoteca Il Caminetto. The contrast between these two places couldn't be greater - with the exception of food taste and quality. Both are great.

But decor, service and overall experience are very, very different. Hostaria A Magnatora is a very easy-going, casual place, where you are greeted and served by the owner himself. The simplicity and almost exaggerated thruthfulness of this place leave a warm and friendly mark in your memory. The owner liked a lot our - apparently very non-Italian - early arrival (we showed up at 7pm). And he kept coming back to our table to chat with us and tell us about the food we were having (superb swordfish).

If you're into this sort of warm, friendly, non-nonsense, family-run places, you'll love the Hostaria A Magnatora. If you prefer more posh dining then choose the Il Caminetto (similar prace range) or the amazinglym, owerwhelmingly incredible Il Granchio (twice the price).
