The location is beautiful with view of Mediterranean Sea. The room was comfortable and very clean and secure when we went out. This is genuine Italian style and the staff very friendly and helpful and enjoyed our small attempts to speak a few Italian words. This is a good place to stay and there are miles of sandy beach. We intend to return.

I stayed here over the Easter break. The first thing to greet you upon arrival is the smelly green and malodorous swimming pool. What a shame it wasn't emptied or covered over during the low season!
The room was very good - clean, bright and comfortable. I don't mind about plastic beakers! There was hot water, but you sometimes had to leave the shower running for a full 7 (yes, seven) minutes before getting it.
The breakfast was plentiful but of poor quality. I am shocked to find anywhere still serving tinned fruit cocktail! Everything (even the croissants) was covered in sugar. I stayed for eight nights. That meant eight mornings of this stuff. We were booked on a half board basis, but an evening meal was provided by a nearby restaurant. This wasn't very good.
There is nowhere warm or welcoming to sit and socialise in this hotel. There is a bar, but I didn't see anyone buy a drink there ... I certainly didn't consider doing so - no atmosphere.

As a non-Italian-speaking, you will have a hard time communicating with the staff, as few of them speak other languages than Italian. The hotel is nicely located near a beautiful beach, and close to the town center. Our double room was rather small, and didn't have a tub, no glasses, no candles, no hot water boiler, no cutlery or dishes, no wifi, no international TV channels. But clean and tidy. The hotel does not allow children to use the pool between 13-16:30. Bathing requires a cap, and no child behaviour is allowed, e.g. inflatable toys. The breakfast is very basic, and does not deserve a star at all. To conclude, the value for money is quite poor if you're looking for a family-friendly place to stay.

great location, clean as can be, grumpiest managers around. Unsure how this was rated 4-star. My wife, I, and our 2 children stayed there a week, my wife speaking Italian. We were told beforehand there were 2 meals a day in the package, but in fact its only breakfast. The pool has rules similar to the 3rd Reich. Guys, hope you like bathing caps. Children are not the choice of the managers, for god's sake don't swim when the manager is giving a private lesson. In short: great place to stay if (1) you don't have kids with you (2) you don't want a hotel with a full service restaurant (3) you are accustomed to being lectured. Staff that cleaned and worked the desk were marvelous. walking distance to all thats important in Terracina.

My mother and I decided to stay a week in Terracina at the Albatros hotel. The location of the hotel is very good: near the beautiful beach, the city center (it is very comfortable to go to Rome and Naples) as well as near to the port to go to the Ponza islands. Our saty was very pleasant, the room was light, clean and rather spacious.
Our great thanks to the staff: courteous, attentive and very friendly. Individual approach to the client's wishes (all we asked about was done immediately) made us feel at home from the first minutes of our stay. Highly reccomended.

My wife and I, on impulse, decided to stay a few days in Terracina and the Albatros hotel.
It's located near the most beautiful beach.
Our stay was a most pleasant one; the room was nice, the staff was very friendly. All in all a very good value for money. Highly recomended.
