Nice place, with a large beautiful garden, comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast in the pavilion in the garden. Цell located (5 minutes from the port), but the first time is hard to find because of the complexity of local streets.

Adriano met us at the ferry landing and transported our luggage and us to his B&B. The rooms are like small apartments, set in beautiful gardens. Room small, but adequate.
Breakfast OK, a pastry and coffee.
Stromboli a fantastic place.

We stayed one night at the Residence Aquilone. The room was very basic with one double bed and a bunk bed, and a shared shower and toilet in the garden but it was the only budget option we could find on Stromboli. As such we can recommend it. It is set in a pleasant garden with a friendly and helpful owner, not too far away from the port and beaches.

I recently stayed at this place and wouldnt stay there again. Adriano the host charges some people for breakfast and not others (€6 is a bit stepp for two bread rolls) and in general I think this place has let its standards slip being in the Lonely Planet which pretty much guarantees business.

Hot water was on one minute and off the next, the TV didn't work at all and Adriano the host didn't quite seem to know basics like ferry times(despite him having to be at the port himself to pick up potential new customers which is strange).

It is not a bad place, being centrically located but upon my return to Stromboli I will be looking for somewhere else to stay.

This is absolutely lovely place hidden in beautiful garden, I wish I stayed there longer not only one night with trip to vulcano. Room is so nice, service too, and this breakfast with hot bread in the morning... The owner prepared us this breakfast at 6:30 due to iur early ferry to Milazzo without ant problem. I really reccomend this place and staying there longer than 1 night!
By the way, island is so quiet so great for real rest.

We arrived on Stromboli without accommoddation as our plans had changed last minute. There were a handful of people offering rooms to people coming off the hydrofoil, and we took a chance on this. We payed fifty euro for a double room including breakfast, which is a fantastic price. I guess it will cost more in high season. Our luggage was piled on to a golf buggy (there are no cars on Stromboli) and off we went. It felt like we were going a long way away, but there is a one way system so we had to go the long way. It is actually less than a five minute walk to the main piazza, and ten minutes to the port.

The rooms are set up like little cottages, set back with terraces amongst beautiful gardens full of flowers and fruit trees. We only stayed one night, so the small room was fine. The bed was very soft, but we collapsed in to it after climing the volcano and slept like logs! The breakfast terrace is lovely too. I'd happily stay here again, but for longer this time.

We were staying only 2 nights in august. At this time in Stromboli is very difficult to find anything if you decide to stay less than 1 week. Adriano had 2 small rooms for this purpose and at very good price. We loved the place and Adriano was very nice to us. Vasile, the driver and assistant was also very kind. I would absolutely reccomend it.
