The restaurant has an open view to the sea, we arrived without a booking and were shown to a table which was not in a prime position (at the edge of the balcony) because apparently they were fully booked. Unfortunately the people who had booked either didn't turn up or perhaps the management had decided to save them for some richer punters from some yacht?
There is a more "fine dining" atmosphere here than other restaurants we visited in Sicily (more attractive china, glasses, cutlery, and trendy service) but actually the food isn't any better than the norm (which admittedly in Sicily is very high) you just get smaller portions and pay more! We paid a good 20 Euros more here for a comparable meal elsewhere.
