we were waiting for more than 30min. for two pasta vongole! better to take the pizzas! only 10min waiting and good quality and hughe!!!! it has a kind of Katz's (nyc) feeling withe the wooden walls and a 80s kind of sports bar:) very well with a bunch of good friends to have a few more beers. not so perfekt with small kiddos because of loudness!

Huge pizza, tasty and almost perfect and reasonably priced. The staff was incredibly friendly. I like this place!

If you want a GENUINE ITALIAN pizzeria, this is it!
We are, although based in Switzerland, regularly in Liguria/Spotorno and a visit to the family owned/run Black Bull is absolutely mandatory.
Huge top quality pizzas at prices not seen in Italy since the (unfortunate....) introduction of the Euro. Our bill is on average a little more then half of other restaurants in Italy.
Obviously they base their calculations on a continuous high turnover (which they do have.
Even on a Monday evening in November they have plenty of guests (locals)).
In the high season (July/August, especially weekends), you will have to queue LONG for a table, but the queuing together with 20 hungry/happy Italian families is actually a nice experience (and if you think YOUR job is tough, please watch the two pizzaolos desperately trying to cope with all the pizza orders in their HOT (70C?) “pizza oven cage” nicely visible from the street, and you will probably conclude that your job is not so tough after all....).

Great place for pizza, huge, tasty, almost perfect and reasonably priced. The decor is typical Italian pizzeria (tacky, fake peasants inn meets fake fishermens inn with far too much knick-knack, stuck in 1982) and the place tends to be very busy, so be ready to wait for a table and wait for your pizza, but is is definitely worth waiting. In summer get a table outside if you can - it is perfect to watch the world go by as you wait for food,
Never tried anything besides pizza; but this is a pizzeria so why go there for anything else?
