is comfortable & beautifully furnished with antique furniture, with a courtyard and small garden set in the small hamlet of Poreta, there is a small shop & bar opposite, the only one for quiet a few miles, handy for any thing you need.
Cinzia was very welcoming, helpful and generous, her directions to the villa are excellent and the breakfast basket and wonderful cakes were much appreciated, the home produced olive oil was very good indeed.
Cinzia's mother who runs the shop and bar and lives next to the villa was a lovely lady and we loved to see her walk Pimpinella the goat in the evenings.
I would recommend this Villa to enjoy the Umbrian hospitality.

We arrived late in the evening due to long delays at Rome airport; the apartment was really great with private court yard and good qualify furnishings. Cinzia's mum provided supper, quite unexpected a dish of lentils, with meats and salad - the lentils were superb cooked in stock with a taste that only many years of experience can provide. This place is ideal if you want to explore the region and in the evening relax with good local wine in very private and peaceful surroundings. The hosts Cinzia and family could not be more helpful and there's a small shop for supplies just in case you need them. Local restaurant within 2kms all very good.
Great to see family goat out for an evening walk, very local & peaceful place to stay
