My partner and I plus 2 friends stayed here for 2 nights as part of a walking trip through Umbria. First impressions were positive: an attractive terrace in front of the hotel, a welcoming lobby and - after a longish walk up and down various steps - a good-sized room, well furnished in a traditional style plus a well-equipped bathroom. It looked on to a pedestrianised side street which was peaceful. Beds were in order and general cleanliness was good.
We had dinner on one night which was good, although the hotel was having to cope with a very large number of diners. Waiters remained friendly and efficient inspite of the pressure. Breakfast was acceptable but unremarkable.
Spoleto is an intriguing town and worthy of exploration; the highlight has to be the wonderful cathedral.
I would have no objections to staying at this hotel again.More
