My friend and I stayed for 8 days, and for 2 of those it rained heavily. I discovered that it was possible to visit what I thought were some nearby famous caves, the Grotte di Frasassi. I enquired of the staff how to travel there. Alberto, the hotel owner, offered to drive me the next morning after an airport pick up, and after I could catch the train back.

In the morning we were driving through torrential rain and it was at that point I discovered the caves were not 6 km away but 60! After an hour's driving, upon arrival at the cave ticket office, we were told the web site advertised English speaking tour was not being offered. At this point Alberto insisted upon accompanying me on the tour so he could translate for me! I can't imagine any other hotel owner being so hospitable. We also detoured to look at a famous church.

As well as Alberto, the other staff are friendly and do their utmost to make your stay comfortable.

Room Tip: Ask for a room directly overlooking the beach for the best views.

Hotel Conchiglia was actually full, so they let us stay at Argentina hotel which is on the beachfront.

The breakfast was good... they had scrambled eggs.

Helpful staff.

They have bicycle for use.

The rooms are a bit small but clean. Comfortable beds.

The paint was coming off the inside of the balcony.

Only one chair for the balcony when the room was for two people.

We have just got back from 5 days in this part of Italy, Whilst most of the hotels are shut up for winter in this part of Italy don’t let that put you off, as the welcome and the warmth displayed by the hotel owners make it worth the visit, we have stayed in 5*hotels around the world and the service has not been as good, nothing is too much trouble and the staff work so hard to make sure your holiday is a good experience, the rooms are spotless, the food is excellent, very Italian which is great, The only fault I could find was that we where only there for 5 days, We were picked up and taken back to the airport by Alberto, which is superb service.also on arriving at the hotel we were given maps showing places of interest
Senigallia is a lovely place, the buildings you can go and visit are superb, the beach stretches for miles, We will definitely be returning to this hotel next year, as Alberto his wife and family made this a place we want to return too.

The Hotel is excellent value for money and the managment and staff were more than helpful and friendly. The food was ok,we never went hungry. The drinks were about the same price as home which was a suprise as everyone had warned us about how expensive everything was.The Hotel bikes(which were free) were great fun and a good way to see the coast line, which goes on for miles.
Rooms were spotlessly clean and functional.
Alberto and his family did everything they could to make our short stay enjoyable, collecting and returning us to the airport free of charge (80 euros if you get a taxi) was a nice gesture.
BEWARE the sun beds on the beach opposite are not free and having been given the beds without charge for the first day we were asked to pay 15 euros for each bed on day 2!!
TIP take a bed and ask how much for the day.The Italiains tend to pay for them for their entire stay which is not cheap if you only want a couple of hrs!!!
The summer season ends Mid september so it is extremley quite at the time we were there but if peace and quite is your thing then you will love it.

Stayed at the Argentina second week of September . Hotel staff v friendly , even asked us if we wanted "BAKONHEGGS" for breakfast. Rooms looked like they had just been redocrated-clean -functional and a half decent view of the Lido. Couldnt fault the place - and Sennigallia was a great stop off for a few days

Four of us recently stayed at the Hotel Argentina in Senigallia on full board. The hotel is family run and very friendly. The food is excellent, although very Italian (which we like). There were only two choices for each main course and starter but both of them were equally delicious. If you are still hungry (which I doubt very much) they will offer you the other course as well if there is any left! Plenty of pasta! Be prepared to put on a couple of pounds in weight. If you email them the day before you arrive Alberto will pick you up from the airport. We will definitely be going back again next year. Senigallia is a well planned family resort. We were there at the end of the season and some bars etc were closing, but the weather was mostly fine. Very good value for money.
