Stayed a week in the Residence part of hotel which provided a self- catering option rather than the full hotel experience. Room was compact but quite well appointed. Very close to a supermarket for food and essentials.
Room was clean and modern and very good value for money.

Only downside was the walk to and from the hotel to get to lifts. Generally used to ski in and out.

Large room with kitchenette & large bathroom with shower. Balcony towards church. Quiet. Very good/large breakfast and dinner with excellent salad buffé. A bit difficult to adjust temperature in the room.
Not so well equipped fitness room. No shower there! Not nice to pass the lobby and corridors in used training cloths! A bit old fashioned lobby, free WiFi.
Good location in the village, 5 minutes walking to main ski-lift.

We stayed at Residence, in a studio room. The room was ridiculously small, tired and uncomfortable. There was no chance to adjust the temperature at the room and sometimes it was really cold there. There was no cleaning service at all, no changing of bath towels, and all the rubbish we had to throw out ourselves. They justify this with that we were staying in a self-catering apartment by the hotel, but this so called appt at the same time had no kettle to prepare the tea of coffee!! And finally the breakfast wasn't included in the price of the room which was terribly overpriced, about 200 euro per night, so add another 25 euro per day! The verdict is: to avoid at all costs. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. This is absolutely not a 4 star property!

The only positive thing we met here was the staff of both restaurant and reception desk. They were always nice and helpful, and tried to do anything for us.

Room Tip: If you really like this place, stay in Hotel Antares, not a Residence.

I just returned from spending a week at Hotel Antares. We traveled with a ski group from New Jersey. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It is located right in the middle of town. The rooms were beautiful and very clean with great views. We stayed in a corner room on the third floor. The room was very large and had plenty of storage space. The staff was very accommodating. The lobby and bar were beautiful. The bartender was very attentive. Food was good too!

Just got back from a ski vacation stay here. I must say I was pleasantly surprised, based on many of the reviews I thought that the rooms were not going to be as nice as they were and that the food was going to taste better. First the room, a great size considering the size of European hotel rooms -- we had a room on the top floor, large room with plenty of closet space, 3 hooks in an entry way for ski coats and such. A large double sink bathroom with the appropriate amount of towel bars and one hook. There is a great ski locker in the basement for skis and a warming rack for ski boots. Difficult to say if the warming rack for the ski boot truly worked. Like those before said the hotel is easy walking distance to the gondola and to the ski bus. The internet connection is kind of annoying just like people before said. The food, I would not say 5 stars more 3-4. Breakfast excellent with a wide variety of choices -- but the items you might want warm were not -- like the fried eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage. One comment on the morning coffee - cappicinos were wonderful but regular coffee -- not so great even though the milk was nice and warm. Dinner -- 5 star salad bar and antipasti, great pasta course. It was the entree that was lacking -- sometimes it was cool, not very flavorful and sometimes items were on the salty side. I would say most often things were flat tasting. Desserts for the most part were pretty delicious and some very different like their sorbet like drinks, this whipped pear thing that was very yummy. The bathing cap in the pool is also odd. Staff was very helpful and English was pretty good. I would stay there again.
