“Fish dishes on a mountain top!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2012

Every time I go to the Piz Sella I eat at this restaurant at least once and the service is always great. You might have to wait for a while because a lot if people want to at the delicious fish in the mountains! If you come here fish dishes are must but all other dishes are really good especially the desserts that seem almost too elaborate to be made in the mountains. Its always interesting to look at the pictures of skiiers and the Marzola family(founders of dolomiti superski and owners of the restaurant). The location is great because as soon as you step out you can just put your skies on and go down the mountain or towards the Monte Pana.

“Again, gourmee restaurant in a mountain hutte”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2012

We were amazed by amount of famous people who tried their food (the walls are covered with pictures of princes, sportsmen, politics etc). Food is gourmee and wine excellent!

“The place to be”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 9, 2012

Friends suggested we should try this restaurant while on the ski slopes... Just fantastic... I did not expect a place like this to exist... It had everything you can wish for... We had lobster at 2000 and something meters above sea level, surrounded by the Dolomites... Priceless!!!

Yeah, forgot to say, don't go there if you are on a budget vacation, you won't find what you are looking for... For everybody else: This place is a must...

We had never heard about it before, but then again, we had never been to the Dolomites before. Once back home we did some deeper research and the place seems to be pretty popular... It's one of those "see and be seen" spots...

Apparently we were staying in the hotel owned by the same company, thus we managed to get a table in the private room (I think it's called like that, it did not seem to have a particular name, but if you don't know about it, you won't find it...), so make sure to book and ask for the Private Room, it adds a little extra to your day!!!

“Fine dining in ski boots”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2012

You would not exept this quality of sea food on the top of the mountain.
If you are ready to pay double price and have fine dining on the slope instead of the fast food - try it! You would also learn a lot about the history of the area - photo memrabilia on the walls is amazing. Advance booking is required
