We went here for a "family-friendly" dinner as recommended by our hotel. The first person we met was very friendly and assured us that they would prepare something special for my young children. The owner came to our table to take our order. The boys each asked for a pasta with meat sauce. I ordered a calzone. Simple, right? The pasta arrived with tomato sauce--not a winner with my boys. I reminded the owner we ordered meat sauce, he remembered but did not offer to change the pastas. No sign of the calzone. The boys were half-finished with their pastas, choking down the tomato sauce. Still no sign of the calzone. I asked a waitress. The boys finished their pastas. No calzone. Twenty minutes after the boys plates were collected, I was offered my calzone that was actually carbon-black. I told them I was not happy that the rest of my family was long-since finished with their dinners. I scraped the black carbon off the calzone and cut into it. It sort of "oozed" some sort of burnt, blackish sauce. I decided it was a no go. There were no apologies. I asked for the bill and, while they wisely decided not to charge for the calzone, the small plates of pasta with tomato, not meat sauce, were charged at 15 euro each! So, dinner for me (nothing) and my two boys totaled around $50 USD---we will not be returning.
