I'll start with the positive: the hotel has an old world feel, average room and huge bathroom..it is kept spotless! The pool is really great and in a peaceful environment. The bar/restaurant staff are mostly friendly and helpful, good food at lunch.
Sant Agnello is cute and quiet compared to Sorrento.
Negatives: the reception staff are mostly unfriendly and unhelpful except for the young man and night staff. They don't greet you and were rude and unwilling to help us when we asked for a room with balcony that didn't look out at scaffolding.
The breakfast needs to be kept HOT! On holidays people like to rest so finishing it at 9.30 is too early.
The walk into town is more like 25 mins on uneven paths so be prepared!

We have recently returned from a fantastic stay at the Parco Del Sole (21 June - 5 July). 2 weeks half board basis (Room 37). Hotel room was large and spacious with balcony, maid service twice daily the rooms were kept immaculate. Food was good quality and varied. Purchased meals at the bar were good value. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Mr Angelo, Salvatore and the rest of the restaurant team were professional, courteous and extremely helpful.
Themed evenings were enjoyable
The pool area was comfortable, clean with fresh towels provided.
The hotel is in a great location, with a direct walk to Sorrento taking 15 minutes.
St Agnello was lovely with some great restaurants and bars and has a charm of it's own.

Well worth a visit and i hope to return.

Stayed here - never been to southern Italy before. Hotel maintained immaculate throughout - pool area and gardens could not complain at all
Room was very big plenty of space and overlooking the pool - maybe could do with slightly updating - not shabby or terrible extremely clean with maid service twice a day!
Evening meals - huge portions - plenty of choice and waiter service, from such wonderful helpful staff. The midweek Speciality Dinner outside with the entertainment was wonderful - enjoyed the evening very much under the stars. Enjoyed the variety of Italian food - (as they say when in Rome)
Only complaint I have is the Breakfast choice - would have prefered sliced fresh fruit and that the eggs etc were kept hot rather than warm!!! But who goes on holiday for breakfast!!!
The shuttle service from the hotel driveway will take you to the centre of Sorrento was great - although with the one way system it could be quicker to walk through the historic streets and enjoy the wonderful surrounding. Sant'Agnello has a huge church - so when lying by the pool the only noise you will hear is the chiming of th bells. Good hotel location for getting out and about
Access to local transport and train service is easy and very cheap - great way to get to Pompei on the train as roads in Sorrento are constantly packed - forty mins to the historical site a must for all visitors.

Room Tip: All rooms are on the larger than average - make sure you are not on ground floor - anything above looks over the gardens and swimming pool.

primarily i was looking for a four star in the sorrento area with bed and breakfast only. i selected the parco del sole in sant;agnello for price and convenience.the rooms as in italy generally were not large but ours had a high ceiling and a balcony and was kept very clean. the pool and pool area is ideal for couples and young families there is a kids pool. the staff were friendly especially luca [supplied fresh pool towels every day] and catello and annalisa in reception.it is 15 minutes into sorrento [walking] but the bus or train is close at hand .the hotel has its own courtesy bus.i stayed for a week and found sant;agnello had its own special charm plenty of reasonably priced restaurants and bars [try the wine bar beside the church].if you wish to avoid crowds of other tourists stay out of sorrento.

Room Tip: third floor with a balcony over-looking the gardens

Recently stayed at this hotel on half board basis having previously stayed B&B.Rooms are very clean, pool area is excellent with plenty of sunbeds.Food was good but portions are too much and was typically Italian.I have previously stayed at the Sorrento Hilton and the Capodemonte which have stunning views of the Bay of Naples but I prefer the pool area at this hotelPleasant .20 minute walk to Sorrento, limited bus to and from Sorrento provided by the hotel .Excellent value hotel but if top class food is important go to the Capodimonte at double the price. Staff were very pleasant and eager to please

Room Tip: balcony room overlooking the pool was excellent
