My partner and I stayed here in July 2012 and had an absolutely fantastic time.

The area was perfect 5 minutes from the train station to pompei/herculeneum etc and 15/20 min walk from Sorrento. Lovely restaraunts within walking distance and even better ones in Sorrento itself.

The hotels entrance is lovely you walk up a long driveway (from where you can catch a bus each evening into town although it gets VERY crowded!) with tons of palm trees either side all the way up to the entrance. The interior of the hotel is slightly dated and the lifts felt a bit rickety but there was plenty of storage space in the bedroom with a big comfy bed and a gorgeus bathroom. The room was pretty small but we weren't in it much!

The food in the hotel wasn't amazing but was perfectly adaquate. At breakfast there was a lot of choice and you're sure to find something for everyone. We had lunch here a couple of times they do lovely salads and the pizza was pretty good too.

If you're the type of person to go on holiday and relax by the pool a lot this is definitely the hotel for you. The pool area has been recently rennovated and is absolutely gorgeous. We spent a lot of time out there and loved it. The pool bar is right nearby whenever you need a drink, towels or ice cream and at the top of the pool theres a lovely marquee with a load of tables where they serve lunch.

Can't recommend it enough. Will absolutely be going back if I have my way. The only thing I would say if you walk into Sorrento, the road is pretty busy with narrow pavements so be careful but i quite preferred this to getting the crowded free bus...Amazing value for money!

Had a great week staying at this hotel. It was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was adequate as was the evening meal. All staff were friendly and helpful. For the price was very good value. The pool and pool area were fabulous. We went at a time when the pool was only just opened so was a bit cool.

Room Tip: We had a room which overlooked the pool. Was very quiet with no road noise.

I stayed at this hotel for a week in July and all I can say is AMAZING! The food every evening was great, breakfast was a bit basic but enjoyable. The poolside bar/resteraunt had a wide selection of food that was delicious and a lovely place to sit and enjoy lunch. The pool area is very clean and well maintained with plenty of sun loungers and a very comfortable seating/lounging area for some shade from the sun.

The room was equally as impressive. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. The balcony was rather small for such a spacious twin room but still offered a lovely view over the pool in the evenings. Bathroom was a little on the small side but was extremely clean so it wasn't a problem! The hotel is situated away from the main piazza in Sorrento but is only a quick taxi ride or 20 minute walk away.

The decor is traditional Italian, not out dated as some other reviews state. It is not like your local travel lodge/premier inn full of high tech modern furnishings. It is a traditional, well maintained, clean Italian style hotel. Would recommend to anyone, the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful! Definitely worth a 4* or maybe more!

My son and I stayed here so we could visit Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius and other bits in the area around. We wanted to take the train instead of doing tourist coaches so I picked the hotel as it was close to the Sant'Agnello train station. It is about a 5 minute walk away although we had to cross the one main (very busy) road, which is not as easy (and very frightening) given the way people drive in Italy. The hotel pool was nice and particularly refreshing after a day exploring around. The balcony had two ancient chairs (all that fit on it) with wood splintering off of them. My main complaints: they charged for water at dinner (2 euros a bottle when we bought the same in the nearby supermarket for about 5 cents), the maid kept moving things around the room to the point where we starting to hide everything away and there weren't enough pool towels (if you didn't get one by about 9.15 there were none left and they didn't launder again until the night). I wouldn't recommend the half board - just do the breakfast and then go explore the area for dinner. Our best meal was the fast food pizza we got across the street from the Archaeological Museum in Naples.

Room Tip: Another English family who were staying on the floor below us said that they had ants in their room. We were up on the 2nd floor so I would recommend a higher floor.

My girlfriend and I have stayed here for eight nights and had a nice time.

Cons:
- a bit far away from Sorrento city centre if you go on foot but there is a free hotel shuttle that runs pretty often
- breakfast is absolutely the same every single day so after three days you don't know what to eat anymore since you're sick of everything offered
- hotel interiour is a bit oldfashioned (and so are the staff's uniforms) and the furniture as well as the rooms could be renewed

Pros:
- the garden and the swimming pool area are absolutely georgeus
- parking is provided free of charge
- friendly and efficient staff
- free shuttle sevice to the city centre and punctuate as well
