Chicco & Rosa is just behind the Piazza Bresca with its many bars and restaurants, and therefore easily missed. Don't. We had one of the best evenings ever in this little oasis of beautiful food cooked with passion and brio. Both Chicco and his wife Rosa are happy to spend time explaining their dishes and they are strong advocates of fresh, local, seasonal ingredients. Borage ravioli with fresh porcini was a particularly memorable primo piatto. On a midweek evening out of season, the restaurant was quiet - we were the last customers and ended up talking late into the night with Chicco and friends of his who stopped by to say ciao - accompanied by generous pourings of grappa which never showed up on our bill.
