I have stayed at this hotel as several times as part of a coach tour and cannot fault it, the staff are ultra friendly, the rooms are clean and spacious, the buffet breakfast is fab with eggs, meats, cheeses, croissants, cereals etc and the dinners are mainly buffet style with choice of 1st and second course which are served to you waiter style. The bar is cheap and the staff are very helpful. There is a great pool area at the back of the hotel nice and quiet and in a great location, The lake is literally mins away and is near lots of bars and restaurants and ice cream parlours, so if you want a late night drink or snack, you wont be disappointed. I cannot fault this family run hotel and will be happy to go back again. Made me feel very welcome and at home. Love to all the staff especially Valentina and Chiara in the reception and Gaby in the restaurant and bar, And most of all Amelia the owner who made us feel very welcome.

We were on a very ambitious and short Grand Tour of Italy with a UK coach holiday company. The hotel was on the small side, but adequate. The food was good and plentiful. It's a shame that the tap water made fizzy on site was expensive. They must bring themselves into the 21st century by offering free Wifi connection.

My wife wanted the cleaning staff not to come into the room as, in line with the hotel's environmental policy, as we did not require the towels to be changed and the bed was easy to make. An hour before the shops closed, we discovered that the compression tights which we had washed on put next to the towels to dry, had been removed together with the towels which we were intending to use again. We were setting off home early the next morning and needed the tights. The reception staff would not let me look for the tights in the towel washing basket. In view of the late hour and the distance to the shops, the staff suggested that I take a taxi to buy a new pair. No apology was offered, nor any contribution to a taxi fare or the cost of replacing the tights. I had to queue in two pharmacies and go to a third shop to find what we urgently needed. I returned five minutes before dinner and decided to register a complaint with the hotel staff, but they refused to give me the manger's name.

I would strongly advise any hotel customer to lock away their possessions. If there had been a "Do not disturb" sign, this would have been useful. The environmental statement about washing towels should be removed from the bathrooms.

On the positive side, the restaurant staff were polite and served the food well. The swimming pool was well maintained, though not supervised. There was also a functioning jacuzzi and of course, the hotel has some great views of the mountains. I don't think that the hotel itself deserves a four-star rating.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view.

Stayed for 2 nights as part of a tour, this was a good spot to stay in Garda easy walking to local resturants and the Lake Garda walkway. While the hotel is showing some wear and tear the staff were very helpfull and it was great to have a drink beside the pool after a tough day touring around the area. The pool was clean and a welcome swim after a hot day.The TV was unwatchable being so high on the wall. Probably not a 4 star hotel but worth a look depending on the price.

Room Tip: Get as high as possible to avoid noise, although the lift is small so be prepared to use the stairs, rooms overlooking the pool are the best.

Stunning location with views of the Dolomites and within walking distance of Lake Garda. The room was clean and spacious with a balcony with scenic views across the mountains.
The only problem was that the TV in the room was so close to the ceiling you had to be a giant, or stand on a chair to switch it on and then crane your neck to see it !
The food was plentiful and well presented, and bar prices were reasonable.
The receptionist was very accommodating, and even gave me two of her own English novels to read on the way home.
I would definately go there again.

Room Tip: Twin rooms are more spacious than doubles

Having read the reviews for this hotel we were looking forward to a 4 star stay but this was not what we got, don’t get me wrong the hotel isn’t awful, it just isn’t 4 star! If we start with the good points, it was spotlessly clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful (especially the head waiter who seemed to do everything) service was generally excellent and the hotel was quiet with good access to the lake with about a 20 minute walk to the town. However when we got to our room it was rather tired with well worn melamine furniture more reminiscent of student accommodation. The dressing table was shoe-horned into a corner so that it was not possible to open the cupboard door or drawer. We had room number 6 which had an enormous balcony which looked onto the mountains. The air-con was very good and not as noisy as some places we have been.
The bathroom was well appointed, unfortunately the shower tray was cracked and a length of string was employed to hold the shower head in place. The bathroom was also noisy and smelly, when anyone in the rooms above used their toilet then water would bubble up from the shower plug hole, the bidet or the toilet and on some occasions all three. The noise was enough to wake us at night and the smell of drains was most unpleasant. This was reported but not resolved, according to staff it is a long standing problem.
The pool was covered in large ceramic tiles and a substantial amount in the middle of the pool had come unstuck and were lying loose making it unsafe for anyone to use.
When travelling abroad we understand that the food is aimed at continental tastes and that is not an issue, quality however is. Breakfasts were adequate, but there were no variation and quickly became boring. The main evening meal became something of a farce with fellow guests guessing how bad it was going to be and then trying to out-do one another when comparing how awful their meal was. This was not only the British guests.
There should be no excuse for poor food especially when the orders were taken the day before giving nearly 24 hours notice to the kitchens.
The impression given was that there either was no chef at all on the premises or that the chef only came to prepare the food and someone else cooked it.
Most if not all of the vegetables used were frozen and meat had often been kept hot in the oven for too long drying out the top surface making it hard and unpalatable. Much use was also made of tinned fruit for desserts along with artificial cream. The overall standard was that of the worst type of school dinner. It was made more disappointing by the fact that looking around the markets it was clear that there was a wide variety of excellent fresh local produce available.
Overall did we enjoy our stay? Yes, but with more than a slight twinge of disappointment. Had we known that it was more a 2-3 star then our expectations would have been lower and we would probably have not gone half board.
