“Great location and nice secure campground”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

Perfect way to see the northern Part of lake garda on a budget. We stayed for 3 nights and it was just over 100 euros. The site was clean and has all the amenities that we needed. The camp bar and shop is very good place to get needed items. Fresh pastries and drinks both coffee and alcohol is a nice touch.

We stayed at Camping Brione for 3 nights at the end of May 2013 after our planned campsite suffered with all the rain. It was getting late in the day and we were driving around Torbole/Riva Del Garda and stumbled across Camping Brione.

The reception is open late and we were offered a few choices of pitch. The staff were very helpful and spoke very good English (much better than my Italian!)

The facilities were good for motorhomes, toilets very clean and excellent showers! I would rate this site as excellent but the swimming pool was closed for repair - not that this mattered with the cool and wet weather we had, but most importantly there was no camper service point to empty our grey water tank. After nights it was full. There are some pitches with a service drain but as the site was full we couldn't use on. Only a minor issue though.

The site has a small shop and a bar but with Riva being so close we walked into town each night.

There is a playground for children and this is a family site so expect noise from the kids during the day time. The site was nice and quiet overnight though.

The one thing we really noticed was that the site is mostly German populated. We were the only Brits there for the duration of our stay. Whilst this wasn't a problem it did mean that we didn't chat with the neighbours much!

The prices are quite high, but when you see the size of the pitches and the facilities the value for money over other local sites is very very clear.

Stayed here for 9 nights with my boyfriend and another couple. One pitch was more than big enough for two tents and the car. We reserved our pitch in advanced and got just what we wanted. Staff all spoke enough english to help and a beer from the shop is €2.50 (jul12). Swimming pool lovely but can be overrun with children. Good mountain bike routes from the campsite, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Shower block and toilets very clean and plenty of access. Kitchen area big and you can rent fridges if you need or they freeze your blocks for free. Would go back and recommend you try.
