“Pleasant stay, very excellent food”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

We are a party of 6 (2 families). We stayed 5 nights mid August, the busiest time of the yr. The hotel was consistently clean+tidy. The staff spoke reasonable English and made us feel welcome among full occupancy.
The rooms are small+basic by North American standard but very neat+tidy+clean nonetheless. You have everything you need but in a smaller size/package. By the end of our stay, we pretty much got used to the smaller space. Fussy sleepers beware: the mattress in our room was wearing out. Ordered rum+coke once sent to our room, came in a Havana Club glass, shows bar staff's attention to detail.
Guests can rent bicycles from the hotel which makes buzzing around town easier. The hotel is about 2-3 minutes leisurely walk to the beach and is in a quiet surrounding. Check-in and Check-out were efficient.
Breakfast was basic European. But lunch and supper were simply exquisite with very single course superbly prepared. The pasta and main course served here match any top notch restaurant in Toronto's downtown financial district IMO. I couldn't get enough of it and probably licked my plate a few times. To me, food was the highlight.

Room Tip: The hotel is surrounded by other similar sized bldgs. We had room #324 which along with #312 and #31...

Thank you to everyone at Hotel Antibes, we were made to feel very welcome and we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone with a young family, with only a few mins walk to the beach and via Dante, it's in an optimum position. The pool was definitely a bonus and on those rainy days there are 2 play rooms, one for little toddlers and another one for older kids (and husbands!) with playstation and table football.
The room was lovely and clean and we had fresh towels everyday, sky in the room too. The food was great and we loved the waiters....and if you're lucky enough to try one of Sacha's mojitios you won't be sorry!!!
All the staff are friendly and professional and nothing is too much trouble..... for a 3 star hotel and for the price you would be hard pushed to find something better.

Me and my wife and 2 kids were on a trip i Italy in July. We booked a 7 days visit at Antibes hotel.
It's a small family run hotel.
The staff is very nice, the owner invited us on a free dinner the first day we arrived.
The rooms is a bit small, but they are nicely decorated and very clean.

The hotel is almost near the beach, i think it's WAY to expensive to go to the beach, 2 beds and a parasol 38€ for a day!!!!

The food at the hotel was nice, really original Italien food. But our family is not keen to throw in our food in 1 hour, 2 times the day. 13-14 and 20-21 - When we are on vacation we eat when we are hungry. :-)

All in all - nice hotel, nice staff, nice food, nice owners (we booked 7 days - decided to leave on the 5 day due to bad weather - we got a refund of 100€ without asking :-) )

Kindly Regards
Family Jensen

This is my second time here and I again enjoyed my staying. This is indeed one of the best deals I found in my many trips. Very confortable at a reasonable price. The rooms I tried at the fourth floor were very clean, quite, cozy, and cool. Both with a nice terrace, one with water view and the other looking at the hills. Rooms at the lowest floor are large but under the garden level, avoid them if possible. Breakfast is fine, above the average for this Hotel category. Eggs available in differend ways, just ask. The staff is indeed kind and polite, always keen to help. If you're travelling by car, be sure to secure a parking when you reserve. Parking is always difficult in the surrounding. Restaurants and shops are at walking distance.

Being a group of 10 children and 12 adults it could have been quite difficult to cater for every need...but Hotel Antibes did even rearranging seating for us. The food was great with a good variety from fresh fish to the wines...we loved the service. This is a 3 star hotel and great value for money with an excellent location and facilities. We will be returning next year.

As we made our first steps in,the young bold lady at the reception already made us understand that we are not welcomed with her way of talking and especially with her fake smile. The rooms are NOT so pretty as you see them in the pictures! The youghurt we tryed to eat at the breakfast was EXPIRED! And the last and the most weird thing is that the housekeeper enters the room as if she would enter her own cribe somewhere in Bangladesh, that's absolutely unacceptable! Ther's something called, 'knocking'
So think twice..
