We spent 2 nights at Agriturismo Savernano in September. It was fantastic. We travel quite a bit and honestly this is one of the most beautiful places we have ever been. The grounds are immaculate, the food delicious, the wine is 3E a bottle (need I say more). It was a wonderful stay. It is only about half an hour to Florence and certainly a great location for day trips to vineyards. David recommended a visit to Verrazzano and it was a great recommendation. We will be back, but for a week next time.

We have choosed this place to avoid driving to Florence by car; using the train was good but the place itself, and its owners, are what impressed us. Big, clean rooms. Beautiful garden and working vineyard and olive trees. Animals. Nothing to disturb the night sleep. Pool bigger then in most hotels. Excellent home prepared dinners. Breakfast. Feels like being a part of a family. Only one advice: give yourself a favor and stay more then 2 nights. We should.

This past June, my two daughters and I found a piece of heaven in Tuscany. After an adventurous drive on the highway leading to Florence, we reached our destination in Reggelo at the Agriturismo Savernano. When we arrived, our first site was the lemon trees contained in large vases. My youngest loves lemons and so we told her this was definitely our spot. We were soon embraced by this beautiful location, it's owners and their hospitality. What we experienced there was everything we felt Italy would be. We felt so welcome and at home there. The food was delicious!, The wine a real treat! The accommodations were so welcoming. We really did not want to leave this place. We were encouraged to travel and explore the local atractions which we did but would have been content to remain and enjoy the scenery and aromas of this place. I truly felt a sadness at leaving and would highly recommend this location as an unforgetable experience that one would not soon forget.

Our first night in Italy and we could not have hoped for more. David works very hard to make sure everything is taken care of. From the wonderful views of the olive groves, and vineyards and the scenery beyond to the welcoming pool and perfect patio where dinners are enjoyed and experiences shared. David and Eva have thought of everything to make this the perfect true Tuscany experience. Very convenient location for day trips yet quiet and relaxing to "come home" to. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and good wine on the patio as the sun went down.. then a pretty room and comfortable bed. Use this as a great base, and welcoming place to come back to to relax and recharge. Everyone should experience Agriturismo Savernano on a visit toTuscany.

What a nice stay we had. Right at the start going up the curvy road to the house I knew it would be perfect. The view! Flowers, olive trees, vines, little hamlets down hill. We were welcomed by white chicken running free. Everything is so clean. You see an old gentleman sweeping along the road everyday. A lot of pride in their estate and it shows. The inside of the house is the same. Typical Tuscany. Beautiful rooms that keep an air of an other era but with modern comfort. The food was soooo good. You cannot do better in a restaurant. The house wine is also quite good and very very affordable. The owner is simply great, helpful, attentive but not too much.
It's also just a half hour by train to Florence and the train station is under 10minutes from the house. The location between Florence, Siena, San Giminiano, Greve in Chianti, makes this place the perfect central spot to see a lot of Tuscany. I do not have one negative about this place and I really really would like to go back and stay more at the estate and relax by the pool and walk along the plantation and the pond. I want to bring my whole family there.

Thank you David

Sincerely

Pauline Gagnon-LeBlanc

Stayed here for 4 nights with my husband and we both fell in love, the property, grounds and view is simply gorgeous, we couldn't over it. It was so fantastic to sit outside and have breakfast and dinner each day and taking in all the surroundings. Were looking forward to coming back one day, hopefully soon. N.B. Since it's in the countryside, there are some mosquitos and wasps around, which is not a problem for most, but they are attracted to me for some reason so next time I will have to remember the insect repellant!
Location- We are so glad we didn't choose to stay at a place in a town, we took day trips to nearby towns and then came back for dinner, and we loved that. It was so great to see a city during the day, dodging tourists and vespas, but be able to get away from it all and return to the peace and serenity that awaited us at the agriturismo- perfect!
Rooms- Quite spacious and clean, bed quite comfy. Hang up your towel, otherwise they will replace them. The flyscreens in the windows were homemade from lace, which was pretty but on the down side, you couldn't get a clear view outside, which is so beautiful. There is a mini fridge also.
Hosts- David's a really nice guy and it always there to help you with anything, Eva is a sweet lady, and even prepared a breakfast for us to takeaway the morning we left as we had to leave at 5.30am to catch our flight.
Breakfast- Good variety, of course bread, pastry, cakes, cheese, prosciutto, fruit, yogurt, etc, You can also order scrambled eggs, you can hear Eva whisking away as soon as you order them.
Dinner- Ate here 3/4 times (one night we dined in Florence), the food here is delicious, mmmmm I still think about it. The pasta sauces are so tasty, I'd love the recipe! The chianti is really excellent, we wish we could have it shipped to Australia too.

This is the perfect place to stay, do not hesitate to book your room here!
