“Eden-like place”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

We have been in Ravello in September. But in spite of the beginning of autumn the place is full of flowers. You can enjoy fantastic views! The colors, shapes, fragrances - everything is daintily !
The garden has a few levels and each has a lot of different and breathtaking appearances of sea beneath.

“Faded glory”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

A fantastically beautiful old garden with glorious views and architecture that inspired Richard Wagner to name it his 'Klingsor's Magic Garden' from his opera Parsifal, has been allowed to slip into neglect. What a pity...

“Breathtaking coastal scenery”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

Although this feels much more central than Villa Cimbrone, Villa Rufolo is every bit as tranquil and calm, and the views are just as stunning.
Personally, I didn't find the gardens or buildings particularly impressive, but the views are something else. The gardens overlook some towns along the Amalfi coast, and this is set beautifully against the stunning coastline and the beautiful blue of the Mediterranean. An absolute must.
