These gardens are a good walk from the square but they are outstanding and must be visited if in Ravello. At the far end of the gardens is an outdoor bar and cafe nestled on a green lawn with linen table cloths.

It's a bit of a trek to get to these gardens but it's worth it. It would have been nice to hang out there a bit longer, I think we stayed for about an hour. We wanted to sit down and have some champagne in the gardens but changed our mind and went to dinner instead. The hefty price of 15 Euros per glass was a bit of a deciding factor as well :). Ravello is a beautiful quaint town if you looking for a peaceful place that has good dinning options stay in Ravello instead of Positano. There is a hotel & restaurant at these gardens that looks amazing, and I think the restaurant was rated #1 on TA. I tried to get a reservation for dinner while visiting the gardens but they didn't have availability for a few days. Stay here if you can afford too, you won't regret it!

If you only do one thing in Ravello, visit the gardens at Villa Cimbrone. They are spectacular and well worth the effort to get there.

We were lucky enough to be invited to a wedding at this location and it was honestly the most wonderful location imaginable - beautiful gardens full of flowers and trees and outstanding views from the infinity terrace. Unforgettable.

Be prepared for a bit of a uphill walk to reach the Villa, but when you do get there it is worthy it.
