“Best hotel in Ravello”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

Probably one of the best positions in Ravello. We arrived with high hopes, having read positive reviews on Tripadvisor. All expections were exceeded and to top it all we were upgraded to a suite. The views were stunning from our terrace and especially from the pool area. Welcoming and helpful staff, immaculate housekeeping and the best hotel breakfast we have ever had. The free shuttle to Amalfi and Positano made the trip.

Room Tip: A view of the coast is a must

Fourth stay in six years. The view and the service at the pool and Restarant were great. The service at the front desk and others were not up to past trips and we had various frustrations throughout. When paying for this kind of service, I don't mind, as long as the property is up for it. This time it was not. Check out your room and location before you officially check in. Some can be very noisy, especially room number 62.

This hotel is pricey, but the views are impeccable and the infinity pool is out of this world. Spend a day just hanging over the edge of the Amalfi coast sipping on cocktails. Even if you are not staying at this hotel, it's a must see! If you're driving the coast, tell your driver to stop. The view cannot be matched and a young, fun atmosphere.

I am surprised by the overwhelming positive comments on Hotel Caruso. I find this hotel to be really disappointing and over rated. Yes it has an incredible view however at £600 a night the hotel is grossly overpriced. The food in the restaurant is average, the service pretentious and the rooms (unless you pay £1000 a night for the suites with spectacular views) are very much average. A real disappointment.

This is my favourite place to go in the world. It was my second time here. We received the warmest welcome upon check in The entire staff is so very kind and will make you feel at home here. Thank you so much Iolanda, Guisy, Lucia, Flavia, Marco, J.J. Tiziana and General Manager Franco for the royal treatment. You are an amazing team and make your guest want to come back. I enjoyed every minute of my stay with my family and every single one of you was so cheerful and helpful the whole time I was there. It made it so hard to leave Ravello after staying at the Caruso. You all give more than your 100 percent to make your guests happy and it is very much appreciated. I spent a lot of my time at the Infinity Pool which has a spectacular view. To top it off the pool staff was very caring and attentive to guests. This hotel offers it all. Great suites which are clean and so comfortable, the most amazing views and the nicest people you could ever
meet work here. The food in all of the restaurants is really delicious. I really liked the waffles at breakfast as well. Our memory of our stay at the Caruso is very special and memorable and we can't wait to go back again.

Beatiful location with lovely gardens and views. The best of the hotel is outside in the pool and sun bathing areas and outdoor restaurants. Our room had a lovely terrace and view but the room itself was quite small and comfortable without being lavish. In a less spectacular location the hotel would be very overpriced. As it is, if the weather is good and you can enjoy the outdoor facilities it is still expensive but you may think it was worth it.

This hotel is masterpiece. It's absolutely perfect! Stay there if you can afford it because it's not cheap.
Ravello is a smaller town but very cute.
The Amalfi Coast fantastic.
The hotel has old world charm, the staff is super professional.
