Beginning with cocktails in the garden entrance area to the final tray of beautifully prepared and presented petit fours this experience must be like living in heaven. A real special treat was the very professional service delivered with each glorious course. What more can one say expect to make sure you have this experience in your lifetime.

I booked Il Flauto di Pan for my partner's birthday last September. From start to finish, the lovely staff looked after every detail and gave us a very special night to remember! Every member of staff, from the front desk to the sommelier, is to be complimented on their warmth and friendliness. The restaurant accommodated my request for a table beside the window, with a spectacular view. My partner ordered the 7 course tasting menu with matching wine, while I opted for the 3 courses. The sommelier's selection for dinner was outstanding and he was very generous with the wine! The food was stunning: refined, creative and imaginative. We both agreed it was the best meal we ever had (and we are serious foodies). I am delighted they received their much deserved Michelin star. An unmissable experience!

Having married here three years ago, we returned to celebrate our 3rd anniversary and pregnancy (gemelli !). From the moment we arrived we were treated superbly. Drinks chilled to perfection, table reserved and perfectly positioned. The menu is literally amazing and probably the best meal we have ever eaten, made all the better by the passion and quality of the serving staff. We enjoyed sumptuous pasta ( Genovese and a sublime oyster risotto), amazing meat ( lamb chops and steak that just rocked!) and a chocolate medley dessert that had to be seen to be believed. Utterly heavenly. Perfect meal, perfect surroundings.

As much as the Villa and Gardens themselves, Il Flauto Di Pan only adds to the illusion created by this attraction. The menu and service are top-notch, well supporting the generous prices, but the wine list is, bar none, the best wine list I have seen in Campania. Scented by wisteria with views along the Amalfi Coast towards Salerno, this is an experience not to be missed. We visited in April, so lunch was decidedly better (and less busy) than dinner given the views.

Michelin-star restaurant, excellent food, service and atmosphere and the views are amazing if you're there during the day to see it. We had dinner there after visiting Villa Cimbrone during the day and you know you're in a top notch restaurant when they start your dining experience with a rose carved out of butter! We had the tuna, steak and shared a calamari pasta, My mister got this chocolate ball sprinkled with gold flakes for desert and it was divine.
It's a bit of a trek to get there cause it's on one of the highest hills in the town so be prepared for lots of walking and stair climbing to get there. Make sure you've got comfortable shoes, but don't wear thongs, cocktail/ smart casual dress-code applies.
