The Belvedere at the Hotel Caruso is indeed a beautiful restaurant, and the service is equally superb. That said, it was difficult to fully enjoy the meals we had as the exorbitant costs seemed unrealistic to the actual products. While my fish selection was 'good', it was not 'off the charts' as brilliant as the price would call for, and the portions were what you'd expect in a 'small plates' cafe. That said, the view from the Belvedere is an absolute Ten Star experience, and the young wine steward was very helpful and professional in suggesting a pairing for my wife's meat and my fish selections. And yes, the Taurasi Red was indeed wonderful!
