We were, at first, put off by the initial look and the word "pizzeria" at the entrance. We had missed the title "Restaurante" due to our experience of many British pizzerias. Being put off by the greeting (or lack of it) at another restaurant, we decided to give La Vecchia Cantina a go. What a difference! We were immediately greeted by smiling staff and made to feel at home. We were advised on the menu by the owner Salvatore, who listened to your every need and suggested what he feels would suit you. The food was out of this world. Most unusual for us we went back on the next night. The food was just as exceptional. An added bonus was the small car park. We would highly recommend this restaurant and it's wonderful host, Salvatore, if you are ever in Ravello.
