Stayed here recently while travelling with family and thought they were great. Not as expensive or perfect as 5 stars nearby but very accommodating staff and lovely access to all the best the Amalfi cost has to offer.

We stayed here for 5 days with a large wedding party in late August and had a truly wonderful stay. I've summarised the key points below:

LOCATION: Excellent location within a short walking distance of the main square and lots of wonderful restaurants

FOOD: We ate breakfast at the hotel every morning and enjoyed a range of hot breakfast foods (scrambled egg, bacon, sausages, potatoes), traditional Italian tomatoes, mozzarella and cured meats, along with fresh fruit, cakes and croissants. It was all fantastic.

ROOM: Our room was huge and had a gorgeous bathroom. All rooms face the beautiful coastal view. Our room was clean and had lots of wardrobe space and a safe.

POOL: The pool area is beautiful with lovely comfortable sunloungers and plenty of places to sit. The pool is freezing but this is most welcome considering the soaring temperatures!

SERVICE: All staff at the hotel were so friendly and polite and made us feel truly welcome!

The (basic, 1st floor) room was lovely, bright and large with a sitting area, and it had a wonderful view of the sea. I'm certain that the view from the higher floors would be even nicer, but no view could be nicer than when lolling in the infinity pool which, of course, also looks on to the bay.
The bathroom was large as well, with chic black and white tiles. There was plenty of room in it to put some sort of shelves or a piece of furniture on which to put toiletries, and they should do this as it's lacking. The room had a balcony, which was very nice to be able to use, and while there is a refrigerator in the room, it was worthless at keeping things cool.

This was one of the best beds I've ever slept on.
There are sunbeds on the terrace which are extremely comfortable too.

The pool has portions both covered and open, which makes it nice if you want to be out of the sun, or, I imagine, if it were raining.... Ahhhhh.

My only quibbles would be that 1) the WCs inside next to the pool had light switches so well hidden that it rendered them useless; 2) even though the room has a balcony, there's no place to hang wet bathing suits on it; 3) the pool closes too early (6pm!) when there are many hours of daylight and warm evenings left. The pool could use a bit of attention as there was algae in the covered portion.

The buffet breakfast is served inside and eaten either inside or on the terrace (with that fabulous view!), and the choices were vast and delicious, while the service was warm and friendly. The coffee, made to order, was also perfect. As Ravello is a very quiet and laid-back town, breakfast is available for longer hours than at many hotels, as there's simply little reason to rouse oneself at an early hour. The hotel and the town are quite beautiful and very relaxing.

This hotel does have parking, and the cost is 25 euros per day. It has two entrances, and is very well located.

Room tip: If you can splurge for the second floor or higher, you'd be further from the street.

The hotel itself is lovely as is its staff! Linda and Giuseppe were the two we had most contact with are were really accommodating. The location is lovely, having breakfast on the terrace every morning. The two members of staff at breakfast (Young dark haired ponytail lady & young dark haired chap) were really lovely and would move tables so we were shaded and remembered how we liked our coffee - all with a smile. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and both our birthdays so this trip was special and as such, received a complimentary bottle of fizz! All these touches really made it a super nice stay. The housekeeping staff were always smiling and helpful too.
Location wise, you're well located for your stay in Ravello, but to travel anywhere else, you need to do the 25/30 min bus ride down to Amalfi and go from there. Easiest way to do it is to get bus tickets (€1.20 single) from the tobacconist in the main square in Ravello. The bus stop to Amalfi is easily got to by leaving the hotel by its secondary reception area/exit on level 0. Turn right walk for 20 seconds. You'll usually see a crowd forming (opposite side of rd to Del Salvatore) the bus turns and goes tomAmalfi stopping a few times en route. Be warned, there's no such thing as queuing!! It can turn into a scrum some days!
Anyway, loved Ravello, and visited Amalfi, Positano, Capri, Minori and Sorrento whilst there.

The Hotel was centrally located. Easy walk to to Square, shopping and restaurants. Parking was a bonus. Our room had a great view of the Mediterranean. The Hotel has a large deck for dinning and sunning and an infinity pool. The breakfast is impressive. The only shortfall was WiFi reception in the room.

Room tip: Don't expect the in room Wi Fi to work. Plan on connecting to the internet in common areas.
