“Amazing value in the Heart of the Amalfi Coast”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

Just spent 6 glorious days at the Limone property of this complex. We were running late for our arrival and would have missed the property but Franco was waiting at the side of the road and flagged us down ( Thank God because my Google map sent us elsewhere). Now that is service!! When we walked into our spacious and spotlessly maintained 2 bedroom apartment, we all looked at each other and said "WOW". We all agreed the space was a pleasant surprise and perfect for the price. Not deluxe, but decent quality Ikea furniture, and very clean. 2 bathrooms with showers (no tub). Full kitchen including dishwasher and clothes washer. The living room faces the Amalfi Road with a gorgeous view of the sea and the mountains. We would open all the windows breakfast and watch the action on the road below. On a clear day you can see all the way to Salerno and beyond. The bedrooms are in behind so provide a quieter environment for sleeping. There is great outdoor space on private patios with lounge chairs, dining table and fruit trees. Lots of stairs ion the complex so not for the unfit ( see posting form SusanABC below-- I agree with everything she says). We were in the upper unit and it was spacious and closer to pool.

The other part of the complex is about 100 meters down the road and between the road and the sea. They have no pool ( They used ours) but they do have a private swim platform on the sea. Their views are not as impressive in my opinion. So if you want the sea, stay there. If you prefer the pool stay at the UVA complex.

Only negatives-- inconsistent hot water and spotty WIFI. Works about half the time.

Overall just a great place to relax, enjoy the views, and eat great food in Minori at cheap untouristy prices (Sea Charaxes1 below). We all agreed if we came back, we would definitely stay here again.

We had a fabulous week at the end of August 2013. Vincenzo and Franco could have not been more helpful. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We used the BBQ and cooked a steak from a butcher in Amalfi. We later found another butcher in Minori which was excellent. I would recommend the Midnight Sun restaurant in Minori owned and run by Antonio. This is located in the square and has excellent linguini and pasta and very reasonable prices. We drank the local red wine Ravello at Eur 10 to 12 a bottle. The typical bill with 2 bottles of wine for 4 people was Eur 70 total. We will definitely be back.

This complex is directly on the road between minori and amalfi. You need to be fit to stay here. It is 100 steps up from the road to the pool. It is a short walk on the road and then down 111 steep steps to minori and then of course you need to walk back up those steps and the road to go to the apartment. Having a car as we did, doesn't solve the steps issue as it is extremely difficult to find parking....and I mean difficult. Walking is by far the requirement.

If you are fit then this complex is fabulous. The pool area is beautiful, the views are spectacular. I would choose the middle apartment, albicocca, as it has a gorgeous large patio. The bottom unit, Uva, is basically the same inside but has a much smaller patio. The upper unit would be my 2nd choice. Not much noise between units, so that wasn't a factor for sleeping, the motor cycles coming around the road can however be loud at night but not a big deal as it was only occasional. The apartment is well fitted with dishwasher, air conditioning, washer and all work well. The sheets were very nice and of high quality, the pillows were also good, the beds themselves were hard.

Norma and Franco were extremely helpful.

Overall, this is an excellent choice for a visit to the region, if you are fit. It is well situated on the coast, you can quickly get to amalfi or maiori, which are bigger than minori. We liked that minori was a little less busy than the towns and had some very nice restaurants.

Dear Mrs Susan,

thanks for your nice words and beautiful review :)
Anyway, we wish just to precise some points:

1) the Amalfi coast is famous in all the world for it's sea, sun, lemons but also for steps to climb everywhere, so if steps are a problerm for you, will find this problem everywhere along the coast. There are many properties on the coast that have 2-300 hundreds steps or even more to climb in order to be reached.
In regards the parking, you may have some difficulties to find parking only in august along the towns of the Amalfi Coast, while there is no problem for the other months; anyway, we precise that we have a garage reserverd only for the guests staying in our Pagliarulo complex, so no problem, even in August, to park your car in our complex:)
In case you do not wish to take a car, you can easly reach the complex by bus as there is the bus stop at few meters from our building.
As last thing, we precise that Uva, the house booked for your stay, is the only one unit with the access to two private outdoors spaces (one equipped with BBQ) while the other units have the access to only one outdoor space.

Thanks again for your nice review and we hope to see you soon.

Location ideal - views spectacular; close to all the Amalfi classics esp Ravello and Amalfi which were both captivating in their own ways; great pool; great service; Minori a very pleasant little spot in which to spend time. Our kids really enjoyed the pedallos to be hired on the beach - lots of fun! Narrow roads a nightmare to drive on but hey ho...

My wife and I stayed here in June after getting married in Tuscany. We were in the Nido Apartment which is a large 1 bd/1 bth. First, the location is perfect. We traveled all over the Amalfi Coast and this was by far our favorite area. Ravello is just up the hill and Minori is a very authentic, non-touristy town right on the water just a short walk away. When were arrived we were greeted by Franco. I'm not sure exactly what Franco's job title is, but he helped us with everything during our stay. From carrying our bags (huge and heavy) up the stairs to our room, to checking us in, making restaurant reccomendations, and arranging scooter rentals and taxi service when we needed it, he was always there to help. Huge thanks to Franco for everything.

The apartment had everything we needed. Nice kitchen, AC, and balcony overlooking the water. The one thing I would say is that our balcony area, which was very large, is mostly covered with lemon trees. While this is great if you want shade, it is not great if you want to lay in the sun. Of course, there is probably the best pool in the area just up a short flight of stairs, so it was not a big deal. As a bonus you can pick as many lemons as you want for drinks and cooking.

Overall it was an amazing trip and we can't wait to come back and stay at Pagliarulo Apartments!

I share the the sentiment of many reviewers about this place. We were a family of 5 and stayed in the UVA apartments. We were greeted by the AMAZING Franco who would go above and beyond for all guests making himself available around the clock. The place is stylish, clean, amazingly located with the most amazing views and all promised facilities in perfect working order. The charm of the place is also very special. Norma and Vincenzo (other staff) where too great being available for any query. Franco gave suggestions on where to eat, what to see, how to get around. All suggestions exceeded expectations. As an example of his exemplary commitment to service, I recall the day we were waiting for the bus to Amalfi under the stairs. Two buses went straight past us as they were completely full. Sensing our frustration and that of our children he shoved us into his car and drove us to Amalfi. It's one of many examples of Franco's commitment to ensure everyone leaves Minori with the best memories. It was just beautiful and I will definitely be back. The pool was something else. There are also private terrazza's to access as well as an abundance of fruit and vegetables (basil, lemons, zucchini etc...all grown on the complex). Just beautiful! I highly recommend it. Grazie mille Franco, Norma, Vincenzo. Siete grande!
