The food is tasty and uncomplicated but that is where the enjoyment ends. This small place is packed with tables of loud American tourists bragging about how many times they've eaten there and trading itineraries across the tables about their Italian trip. Shouting, not talking. But what contributed to this atmosphere was a LOUD AND OBNOXIOUS proprietor (whom I later learned was the owner's nephew) who completely ruined our dinner by flirting with tourists, kissing on the American women at the table next to us, posing for photographs while practically knocking over our wine, and basically "holding court" with no regard for the other guests who were also disgusted with his behavior. Maybe this is a place for only large groups where everyone is in party mode but if you are travelling as a couple and want an authentic dinner experience, this is not the place to go.
