This is no great restaurant, but it was fine, and our experience was better than many of the reviews I have read here. The food was good but not great and we had pretty decent service.

A friend had the mussels and they were good and the pasta dishes adequate. The bread was actually a little stale - I am thinking it was a day or two old. The only service complaint would be that they confused the order of the menu, delivering the main course before the antipasti.

They put the 15€ tourist menu outside to draw you in, but then you have to ask for it or you will never see it. It is a separate menu completely and makes the pace relatively affordable. Kind of a bait and switch.

I wouldn't recommend this place, but if you do go there I think you will determine it is average.

Out of 1500 restaurants I have eaten in, the worst bar none. Worse than the bubonic plague. Do not visit!

While our waItress understood very little English, the welcome here was warm and genuine. Antipasti was OK: nothing very special - decent crostini and antipasti mixta. Scallopine (a limone and alla marsala) was cheap and unremarkable. Could have been much more imaginatively presented. Saltimbocca was disappointing, with too little flavour of sage, and the proscuitto was tough. However the veal chop, cooked rare with a green pepper source, was outstanding, as were the juicy and chunky lamb cutlets cooked in herbs and wine. A very good insolia washed it all down. Order carefully here and you are in for a treat. Efficient. well-paced service with a smile.

Very close to Ibla square, location is fantastic. Large selection on the menu. The pasta we had - bucatoni - was excellent, nice presentation and reasonable service. We went for lunch in mid - july and it was uncomfortable as there is no airconditioning. Can't fault the rest though!
