We stayed last which is high season, so maybe things may be better at another time.
Good Things: Nice location, good atmosphere from the GO's, food was good.
Bad Things: Rooms very bare (but clean), needs repairing. Bathroom old and bare, only shower. Outside Stairway in hotel from pool to rooms was filthy dead flies everywhere. Reception at hotel open only certain hours, restaurants closed early, had to rush to get good food choices, restaurants very hot (sweating while eating) need good airing system of some sort at least some fans. Breakfast was average, bad croissants (surprising since geared towards the French), bread not fresh in the morning, orange juice reminded me of an orange drink. Long wait for fried egg or omelette. Bad coffee from self-service machines that used instant coffee (it is a shame to have bad coffee in Italy). Distances were long: to get to the main beach and generally anywhere involved long walks which is nice, but not that nice when it is very hot, no shade anywhere and walking with small children.
Customer service was very average, had to change rooms, but could only get key to new room after 5:30 because reception was closed at hotel. Sheets were not changed for over 6 days, finally took them off from the bed so that the cleaning lady would change them (but she didn't change the pillow cases). You could get towels for the beach from only 2 locations and only if you had your old ones, as opposed to other resorts that freely give out fresh towels.

Just been to clubmed and its always great fun, this year's entertainment team is very good - we stayed in the hotel and its very comfortable and clean - This club is all inclusive, open bar and buffet breakfast/lunch/dinner - there are 4 restaurants to choose from - with a wide choice of food for all the family.
We were a group of five and there is so much to do in this 96 hecture village, we went on the quads the 3hour session was great fun, paragliding. Then we did the trapeze, took part in most of the fitness classes, acquagym/zumba/body pump. There are 26 tennis courts.
The crazy signs are such fun !!! One of which is Meuvelo.
The only thing this year the nightclub opens 3 times in a week which was a pity ....
there is the largest amazing pool in Europe apart from a very long sandy beach
Its my fourth time and would definitely go again!

Room Tip: Even though the hotel is slightly longer to walk from the main Agora area - I would still book it rather than the bungalows... but even the bungalows are nice to stay in

We arrived at the start of the season and I have to say they did a good job at kicking off the season making sure we had a good time.

We have 3 kids ages 13,10 and 2.

Our 2 year old joined the petit club for a about a half a day most days which allowed my wife and I some free time. We played tennis and took part in Ana 's step class every day. This helped us burn off all the extra calories we were consuming!! Top marks to Ana!! Highly recommended

13 year old was happy doing her own thing on her own and loved the archery and especially the trapeze she even did the catch on the last day!! She said this was her best holiday ever.

10 year old was struggling to find suitable friends to play with and did not make the most of the holiday

2 year old - he looked happy in the club and they kept him out of the sunshine and gave him an early afternoon sleep which allowed us to stay up a bit later.

Accomadition was massive double bed could sleep 4 comfortably . ( handy as the 2 year old joined us on a couple of nights)The other room had 2 single beds and we had another 2 single beds in the living area. Apartment was cleaned every day to a very high standard

Food was plentifully and variety was sufficient for a 3 star. If they did some omelettes in the morning and served pizza every night that would have fond the trick.

This is our second trip here and were disappointed to see they dropped the early morning running club and roller blading from 5 years ago.

As a family we love the all inclusive side of things with our fussy eaters and the bar had everything from Presco, beer ( peroni).

Entertainment. They had a band performing at the bar area most evenings who were excellent and not too loud. The shows were just okay but will get better as the season gets into full swing as the GO ,s get the hang of them.

The shop is a disaster when it comes to paying for anything . They don't accept cash allow 10 mins to pay for your goods which can only be done with a credit card or club med card.

Probably will not return to this resort again but will try another club med resort.

My family and I decided to go on another Club Med holiday based on the great experience we had on our holiday in Hammamet last year. Club Med Kamarina is one of the largest resorts that Club Med have and this is a pretty big resort. The accommodation was a bit dated but the rooms were cleaned every day. We had an upstairs room which was spacious and could sleep up to 6 and it also had a cot in one of the rooms. It had a bathroom with an additional shower room. The grounds are all landscaped and there are a lot of cobbled areas around the resort. We have 3 boys one aged 6 and twin boys who are 4. There are plenty of activities for the children and plenty for the adults as well. On the occasions that my boys did go to mini club they were looked after very well, the G.O's put all their effort into making their time there one to remember.

There's a main swimming pool area which is sectioned of into 3 areas, one for fitness fanatics who want to do lengths another that is the same depth throughout (1.10m) and another for just swimming in. There's also a smaller pool at the mini club which you are free to use and take your children to if they are toddler size, it's more peaceful than the main pool but it is only manned by a life guard for certain hours throughout the day but you can go whether the life guard is there or not. You can get towels for swimming at the resort (5 euros deposit per towel) which can be changed a couple of times a day if needed. At the mini club the have a gated children's playground which consists of see saws, swings and a climbing frame and slide (it's better than I can describe in words).

The food was excellent with a varied choice for the kids as well as the adults. For babies that need food pureed there is a blender in the dining area along with a microwave for warming bottles, plenty of high chairs and booster seater for dining room chairs. I think that also have little baby jar meals. Some meal times the chefs get the BBQ going and the quality of the fish and meat is great. There's also the Marina restaurant which opens in the evening but you have to book at 9pm at reception the night before you want to eat there. They have a great pizza oven and the restaurant overlooks the sea, nice sunsets.

The beach is lovely and you can do archery, sailing, kayaking and quad biking around the beach are. There's toilets, showers and a bar all at the beach with plenty of sun beds.

The bar service was excellent, bring out snacks in the morning, lunchtime and late afternoon. Great range of cocktails, I recommend the caprioskas, very moorish and get you drunk.

The G.O's were excellent, always smiling, always willing to go out of their way to help and very enthusiastic. Once again another great Club Med holiday, just got to decide which resort to go to next year.

Booked Club Med thinking this was a first class vacation experience. Definitely not. The rooms were very sparse but clean. The food was good and ample. The activities were reasonable but very limited by times and ages. You had to sign up for things very early if you hoped to be one of the few that would be able to experience, for example the catamarans. Or you had to stand on line for an hour to experience other activities during the prescribed time period. Have your kids lie about their age if you hope to take part. My son was 9 and many activities were for 10 and up. The employees were unforgiving about age or time restrictions. Doesn't matter if you waited in line. If its not your time or age, you are turned away. Didn't make for a fun time. Everything is presented in Italian or French not much English spoken. We needed to store my sons medicine in a refrigerator on the day we left. Staff made us leave our room and they could not/ would not provide any refrigeration anywhere. I finally found a helpful waitress in the buffet area who brought me a large bag of ice. That was something but not at all helped from the front desk. This was completely out of a mom's necessity and a sympathetic human being who had access to ice. Doubtful if we would ever try another Club Med.
