“Top Value Charm Hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2010

Very nice boutique hotel, located between Pula and Nora beach. We used it to discover the south area of Sardinia, from Cagliari to Costa Verde coast. With a classy atmosphere, friendly / helpful staff, surrounded with some nice restaurants, fabulous beaches like Nora, Chia, Cala Domestica / Portixedu (1 hour drive, but worth the trip).
The rooms were o.k., only minus is that there was only a shower, but roomy enough and with all the facilities (A.C / Sat TV / Mini Bar/ Hairdryer) on place. Outstanding the breakfast, served at table, with fresh orange juice, hot croissants, "latte machiato", fresh fruits, sliced ham on the moment, etc.... Also the pool area / garden was very beautiful and very well kept. To stay here you should have a car (free parking), although they lend bycicles for free and can reach the Nora beach or Pula center easily. For this, we payed 220 € / night / triple room in August, which I consider for the season and location a good value.

This is an incredible small hotel; the staff is friendly, helpful and attentive, the rooms are spotless, the pool is magnificent, and the location is definitely ideal. The hotel itself is within a 5-10 min walking distance of both the Pula town center and the beach/archaeological ruins. Although there is no full service restaurant for dinner/lunch, the breakfast is delicious and the great concierge knows all the best spots to eat. Tack on the great value and this, in my opinion, is the only place to go for lodging in Southern Sardinia.

We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights at Nora Club Hotel. The owner and staff were so friendly and helpful. Stefano gave us good recommendations for food and sightseeing ideas. He even prepared a nice meal for us one evening when we wanted to stay in. Our balcony room had a beautiful view of the pool and grounds...the flowers and trees were lovely! We used the hotel bikes one day to get around. It's also located in walking distance to a cute and active town. It's a relaxing, quiet, comfortable, lovely and friendly place to spend your time. We will go back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Nora Club Hotel for one night on 19 September 2009. Everything was perfect. The staff were welcoming and friendly; the gardens beautiful ; the room comfortable; the pool lovely; the common areas spotlessly clean. We arrived about 2.30pm and asked if we could have something to eat and they eagerly prepared a table for us and we enjoyed our delicious, light lunch. We were sorry to leave the next day, but on our return to Cagliari a week later we stopped off at Nora Club for coffee in the afternoon. They remembered us and we enjoyed our coffee in the pretty lounge area. What a gem of a place.

This was a great stay for one week near Pula town. The rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and the hotel is well looked after with a lot of attention to the decor to make it feel like an Italian family home. Lucky, the hotel dog, was a great addition and spent the day lazing around reception. The breakfast was amazing, although had to go out for dinner every night. The pool was peaceful and the gardens lovely. Also, great to find a hotel that does not allow children. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends.

The Nora Club is a fantastic hotel, very clean, very quiet and spacious and the staff are of the highest quality. Rooms are immaculate, well maintained and beautifully furnished and of good size. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant breakfast is available each morning and very substantial, hot dishes are available to oredr (at additional cost) and the hotel offers a range of light meals and snacks. Make friends with Stefano, who will be found behind the bar in the evenings, not only is his English excellent but he can recommend and even make reservations for you for great restaurants, some of which you would otherwise not find. He can also recommend beaches and places to visit. Having picked put Stefano for mention we must say that all of the staff are efficient, helpful and friendly and the hotel is extremely well run by its owner who is on site and makes sure everything is to her very high standards.
We may have been lucky but most days we had the pool to ourselves, the hotel does seem to be used by business visitors to the area who disappear all day.
We would highly recommend the beaches at Chai, 20 minutes drive away.
Also worth visiting the ruins at Nora which are fantastic, and the turtle sanctuary, both of which can be reached by bikes, which the hotel has for you to borrow as well as beach umbrellas and mats!
We have no negatives whatsoever about the hotel, you do really need a car to explore but the island is huge, everywhere is a long way to drive and there are not a lot of tourist attractions, the Blue Fan waterpark nearby is worth a visit though. So if you want peace and quiet, nice scenery and blue water and white sand, this is for you, if you want lots of visitor attractions then suggest you look elsewhere.
