Thank you for everything. It was a nice trip at a nice place. The apartment was good enough. Actually we didn't miss anything. The view from the terrace was amazing. In my opinion that the room where we were it is comfortable for 2 persons without extra bed. But it was without any problem.
Anyway I can suggest this apartment for everyone.

This is a beautiful and well located hotel in Prato. The rooms are superbly decorated and well equipped, including with basic kitchen equipment. The outstanding feature however is the roof top terrace with its views over Prato towards the hills of Tuscany. It is close to the railway station and so it is easy to get to destinations such as Florence, Lucca and Pisa - not forgetting that Prato itself is a fabulous destination. While not offering meals, Manassei has any number of great cafes and restaurants at its doorstep. There is a lot of helpful information available at the hotel and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Hotel with character. A bit difficult to find because it is located in a small street, but the place is very nice, this is the very heart of old Prato. Very friendly atmosphere - at this hotel you will feel like at home.

Villa Manassei is a lovely elegant old villa with great, fairly roomy apartments, tastefully furnished and both linen and rooms very cleanly presented. The rooms are air conditioned and were comfortable in the hotter weather. There is a pleasant airy roof-garden/terrace with rooftop views, chairs and tables, and convenient laundry facilities. The staff generally were very pleasant and helpful, the front desk personnel though not always present, always responded quickly to messages and were very helpful, particularly Chiara who kindly made a special effort to help me with items I had left behind - for which I am most grateful. When I said I would appreciate a more comfortable chair in the apartment as my back had been troubling me, they were again very sympathetic. The Villa is centrally located in Prato, close by all the main sites of interest: the Duomo, the Dattini House, the Castello, etc, and is most convenient to the Monash Centre. Also to the Rail Station for trains to Florence, Bologna, etc. There were plenty of places to eat of a wide range very close by, and lots of shops to browse, as well as the Textile Museum and silk/textile shops nearby. The Villa front desk also provided a comprehensive list of places to eat and to visit. We enjoyed our stay in Prato very much, and would highly recommend both the Villa and a visit to Prato!

Room Tip: Rooms on the higher levels are probably pleasanter

We found this place because my partner was doing some exams for Monash Uni here and we wanted somewhere in walking distance that was self-catered. Prato turned out to be so much nicer than we thought and the location of Manessai was not only 1 minute from the campus, but close to the nicest piazza in Prato. We got room 11 up the top closest to the terrace, which suited us as we enjoyed sitting up there with wine & food on the balmy nights. It is however pretty loud at night, so if you're a light sleeper, perhaps tell them that and you'll get a different room. The beds are hard but clean and nice. They've gone above and beyond with their service - the internet wasn't working, so we were given a different room as well, just to use while we needed the internet, which was really lovely. The lady speaks excellent english also. We've cooked each night and had breakky in our room, which is a good option for trying the local produce and keeping costs to a minimum. Prato also has some good shopping, which we didn't expect after Rome. Enjoy!

Prato is a hidden delight in the middle of Tuscany .... unspoilt by tourists yet only 20 mins from Florence. And the Manassei provides the perfect stay while experiencing all Prato has to offer, from the incredible Lippi's in the Duomo to the vibrant bars and many restaurants. The Manassei has big rooms, unusual for most Italian hotels, each with small but functional kitchenettes and clean, modern bathrooms. The staff were very helpful, Chiara on the reception made sure we had everything we needed, and the two charming ladies who service the hotel were bustling around every morning keeping the whole place neat and tidy. You MUST take time to take a drink up to the rooftop terrace... a magnificent view over the rooftops with the church towers and bells around you. It is unique and made our stay at Manassei something special.

Room Tip: Every room is different, ask Chiara for help.

Residence Manassei is a fantastic option for staying in Prato. It is located right in the heart of the historic centre very close to everything and a five minute walk to Prato Porta al Senagali train station and about a 15 minute walk from Prato Centrale. The rooms are large and well furnished with small kitchenettes and bathrooms. We were traveling with two small children who were very well catered for, Chiara was extremely helpful with information about parks etc and even lent us her stroller! The rooftop terrace is perfect for dinners, has great views and a great laundry. Highly recommended.
