“Beautiful, affordable seaside retreat”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

Our family of four stayed here for four nights in early July 2013. The first night I was a little nervous because at 11pm when we were in our room for the night, we heard voices and people in the hall right outside our door and in the stair well. The hotel is totally tile, no carpet so sound travels. The doors are thin.
However, the second and third night were fine and no noises bothered us. The family at the front desk were warm and welcoming. Enzo in the restaurant served a delicious breakfast each morning and knew our favorites by the second morning. Great cappucino and eggs!
The wi-fi is free, parking is free.
We didn't have a sea view from our first floor room, and the hotel in front of us across the street ($100 more per night) did have a sea view with pool so our daughters were pretty jealous - but we never spent time in the room so no need for us to pay for those extras this time around.

For a family of four in Europe - the room was large, bathroom was comfortable. Each room has a balcony which we used daily to people watch and hang our swim suits. In early July the water was chilly but after about 3 minutes we warmed up to it. It was clear all the way to the bottom, and no funky stuff lurking. Bring you water shoes to wear - the rocks hurt! No sand.

A family-moon we won't forget!

Room Tip: I'd request a room on the second floor away from the elevator and stairs to minimize noise disru...

A superbly run, delightful family hotel perfectly situated between Positano and Amalfi. The rooms are beautifully presented and offer stunning views over the sea. Luigi prepares cocktails at sunset and will recommend the best restaurants and gelati in Praiano; Rosalie will look after your daily needs and even pack a hearty travellers' breakfast and Mama will perfect your Italian. We were treated as members of the family; all the staff knew us by name and had our drinks and breakfast orders down pat within the first day. If you want peace and quiet a world away from the tourist hordes, yet within easy reach of the sights (the bus stops outside the door of the hotel) and beach (300 steps) then look no further than Le Fioriere. Highly, highly recommended.

Whenever we travel in Italy, we look for hotels that are family-owned and operated. Our belief is that such hotels are most welcoming as well as excellent value. At Le Fioriere, this premise was once again proven right. Luigi and his famiy were extraordinarily warm and helpful. The hotel was also tastefully furnished (in the common areas) and remarkably clean.

My wife and I stayed here during our honeymoon and words can't describe our experience here.

First, the customer service is incredible. In fact, you don't realize how much it means until you experience it here. I've stayed at countless hotels on business and vacation - and I can say wholeheartedly that this was the best I've ever had. Luigi, Rosalea, and Enzo bent over backwards to ensure we had what we needed, when we needed it. During several evenings we bought pre-dinner snacks at the grocery and brought them back to our room. Luigi made certain that we had plates, silverware, wine glasses (and opener), condiments, and olive oil.

This family-run hotel is very clean, fairly spacious, and the views are incredible. From our balcony we had a breathtaking view of Positano and the western part of the coast. There's no mildew or other strange smells. And there was ample hot water - which we struggled with at most other places during our time in Italy.

The hotel is in a convenient location. The SITI bus stop is directly in front. And there's a lot within a 3-minute walk: restaurants, grocery store, and a convenience store. We didn't have a car so this served us nicely.

As a city on the Amalfi Coast, Praiano is a nice choice. Because it's directly between the two tourists hotbeds of Positano and Amalfi, all the major tourist foot traffic passes through. So when you're there you feel like you're in a quaint Italian village. And if you're in the mood for something with more action, there's a local bus that'll get you to Positano in 15 minutes (2 or 3 Euro).

We would without a doubt stay here again. It's a bargain for what you pay. We had a wonderful experience!

We stayed at Hotel Le Fioriere for three nights during our visit to Amalfi coast in May and enjoyed every minute. The hotel is situated perfectly, very clean and homely with extraordinary service and cordiality.
The hotel is very charming and clean and provides great facilities all around. Breakfast is more than adequate, and much more than the traditional continental breakfast, and the bar at the 3rd floor provides a great view of the Amalfi coast and you can even see Positano far away.
The rooms are spacious with balcony and if you have one on the second floor you get to have the Amalfi coast view in front of you.
The service was very friendly and more than perfect.
For those coming to visit the Amalfi coast with a car the hotel has three location advantages: It is located between Amalfi and Positano, it is right on the road (which for those who are not into stairs climbing is a great advantage in this part of the world) and it has parking space. For those coming by bus, there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel.
Very good restaurants right around the corner.
Another advantage of the hotel is that it is located on the main road and you do not have to go numerous steps up and down in order to reach your transportation - whatever it is.
We enjoyed our stay and are hoping to come back one day.

Room Tip: If you want a view of the coast, insist on 2nd floor rooms.

Surprising only because I didn't think there was any way they could improve upon my last stay. But they did - with the most spectacular terrace. GORGEOUS views, beautifully decorated, guarded by the family's adorable kitty. The perfect place to to have a cocktail and watch the sunset. The service remains outstanding, the owners still treat you like family, everything on the Amalfi coast is still very easily accessible, and the value is still tremendous. I'm heading back for my third year in a row in September and wouldn't think about staying anywhere else. Including the apartment of a friend who lives in Praiano. Enough said. Le Fioriere is the only place you should ever think about staying when visiting the Amalfi coast.

Room Tip: Request a room with a balcony.

Thank you to Luigi and Rosalea for a wonderful stay on the stunning Amalfi Coast.
Nothing is too much trouble for this family run hotel we spent 6 days in May and were made to feel part of the family!
The location is ideally located to explore the rest of the Amalfi coast and Capri, but still have that feeling of of a town unspoilt by tourism. There are a number of great restaurants within 200 mtrs of the hotel, and at the end of the night it was always a pleasure to get back to the hotel for a nightcap whether it be a simple beer or an exotic cocktail . Our last night we went to a restaurant 2 km away and Luigi came to pick us up what a service.
If you want to stay on the Amalfi coast Praiano and Hotel Le Fiorere will not disappoint!
