I am very happy we chose to stay in Praiano at Hotel La Perla. Town is not as touristy as Amalfi or Positano. The Sorrento bus stop number 11 is at the end of the drive way and very convenient on arrival as well as for day trips to surrounding towns. The views are lovely. We had a room facing the Bay with a balcony and shuttered doors. There is an incline from the street to the hotel entrance and then about 20 stairs up to enter the lobby. There is no elevator, so also stairs to your room. The top floor is open for sunbathing and great views. Room small but very nice. Breakfast offered a nice variety of fresh fruits, pastries, yogurt and cheese. For this trip, the hotel web site offered better rates than the various hotel booking sites. Great place to start your Walk of the Gods Path.
