Miro and all the staff you are amazing and wonderful hosts. We stayed here for 3 nights. The kids 9 & 11 walked in to reception out onto the balcony and said we have to retire here... they loved it. We had lunch on the first day with amazing fresh Gnochi with tomato sauce and then we were asked if the dinner menu suited the kids or did we want something else instead. The staff were just like family to us. Nothing was to hard. The rooms were very clean and we had 2 wonderful rooms looking out to the sunrise and on a balcony right over the sun deck. This was not like a HYATT it was a small family run hotel. We did not go to eat anywhere else except for some lunches at amalfai and positano for bread and local fare, we did not need a big lunch due to the lovely Italian Breakfasts and Dinners. The beach was nice and clean and the best thing to do was sit down on the balcony have a wine or cup of tea and relax. The kids spent time on the pier fishing with the locals while we relaxed. Also went for a swim with them each day at the rock beach down below the hotel. Don't come here with a phone or PC or wanting to watch the TV as this place is for pure relaxing. We will be coming back every 2 years if I have my plan. Service in a tradditonal family place is what this place is all about. If you come to Amalfai Coast this is the place for you...... thanks Miro and your wife, Sofia, Gusipee and Nicholas from the family

We stayed at the Onde Verde from 6 - 13 September and had a wonderful week!! Great room (106) wth a large double shower and corner patio all to ourselves. Miro and his staff team were fantastic, friendly and helpful but not obtrusive. Food was great - especially the home made pastas. Great beach - but no sand, only large stones. Armandino's Bar is good for lunch or an evening drink. We stayed on half board basis so never had an evening meal there but they looked good. Overall, this is probably the best hotel I have stayed in and the location is picture perfect. Good transport links to Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento. Buy your bus tickets at hotel reception. 5 euros and the ticket is valid for a 24 hour period. Only been back 2 days and missing it already!

Miro, it is difficult to find the words to express our feelings regarding our 3 weeks at the Onda Verde. Wonderful, peaceful, exciting, comfortable, friendly -- Italian -- all come to mind. It was such a joy to find that your website actually UNDERSTATED the experience that we found when we arrived.
Now when the world in which we live becomes too troublesome or hectic, we just close our eyes and remember the sunrises from our balcony, the breakfasts on the patio (with those handmade croissants!!) and the dinners watching the fisherman return. And of course, your limoncella!!

This was the first hotel of our honeymoon and were really looking forward to it and we were very pleased with it.
We booked the 7 nights package with the hotel that is offered on their website and found it to be a very good deal, this includes the transfers from Naples airport. The drive from the airport which takes you past vesuvius and around the sorrentine peninsula, bay of naples and the first half of the amalfi coast is really beautiful and awakens your senses prior to arriving at the hotel.
When you get there you descend in a lift from the road 6 floors, and when you approach reception through a stoney tunnel the view opens up in front of you and could stop you dead, its absolutely amazing.
We spent our seven nights there, and as part of the package we got breakfast which was very good, our evening meals were all very good too, the room we were given was kind of special and we were in the owners mothers villa which joins the hotel, and we had to walk through her living room to get to our room, but we enjoyed the quirkiness of this, and the room was very nice, spacious and very clean, our balcony had a beautiful view and got lovely morning sun.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and although I was afraid to drive after seeing the roads and other drivers i'd have to contend with it certainly is an execllent base for getting around the amalfi coast.
Also included in the package was a tour of pompeii and vesuvius and a trip to capri, each of these were well worth doing, they were quite tiring and the capri trip wasn't really very interesting but it was still worth going on the ferry and seeing the few bits we did see.
There is no pool, but its only a minute down the steps to the public beach, two thirds of which is taken over by private loungers and boats, the final third is hotly contested for towel space, the sun only hits the beach for a few hours a day because of its aspect but there is a couple of other platforms around to swim or sunbathe on.
All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel, if you dont have a car/transport you wont get very far or see very much on foot as its secluded to some degree, but there is good public transport should you need it.
Thumbs up for the first week of our honeymoon!

What an incredible experience. The Hotel Onda Verde is one of the most beautiful hotels that we have stayed at. We were travelling around Europe as a special 25th wedding annniversay gift to ourselves - and the Hotel Onda Verde was the pinnacle of our trip. The Milano family and staff is beyond belief - they know everyone and treat everyone in such a special way. I researched this trip fo over 6 months and discovered this hotel on the internet. Treat yourselves - the people are incredible, the rooms magnificent, the food delicious, the view breathtaking - so much so that it almost takes your breath away. We have travelled extensively around the world but this hotel is quite unique and meets all the promises that it makes.

My wife and I spent a week at Onda Verde in August. We took the full week package which included dinner and two tours along with return transportation to Naples. The package was good value, allowing us not to worry about finding a restaurant each night for dinner, although the hotel is situated near several nice restaurants so that should not be a problem if you don't eat at the hotel. The food was very good and the service from our two waiters was excellent.
The room was very clean and well equipped with a nice sized balcony overlooking the ocean. Although the hotel is about a 10 minute bus ride from Positano or Amalfi, it was nice to be away from all the hustle and bustle of the towns. Travelling on the local Sita bus was no problem. There is a small beach and marina right below the hotel which had a very nice small town charm .
We took the tours to Pompey and Capri. In retrospect it would have been just as easy to go to Capri on our own, as there are regular ferries from Positano. We were quite pleased with both tours but be aware that lunch and admission to the sites are not included.
Our week on the Amalfi coast was wonderful, everything we hoped it would be thanks to the wonderful staff at Onda Verde.
We would definitely return in a heartbeat.

I have just returned from the most wonderful holiday at Hotel Onda Verde! After being in Europe for an extended period of time, my hope was to take a few restorative days on the coast, and without question, the time spent at Onda Verde exceeded all expectations. I felt embraced by the family of the hotel, from the front desk to the restaurant to the housekeeping staff. The consistency of such a high level of service and the care shown to each guest is a testament to the leadership and management of the hotel. Everyone was helpful, gracious and kind, often going out of their way to make sure I was looked after. The restaurant always provided a gastronomic experience, with outstanding regional wine choices. The setting of the hotel itself could not have been more beautiful, with stunning views of the sparkling Mediterranean. I particularly appreciated the peacefulness of the location and enjoyed being woken each morning by a pair of roosters. Miro and Sofia, I will be back to Amalfi, and it is to Hotel Onda Verde that I shall return! Grazie mille!
