We ate here twice because we were craving their slow cooked beef and pasta dish from our first visit. However, both times it seems this place was in a feud with several of the area hotels about who gets the prime out door seats. Still once we sat down the food was by far our best in the area.
The waiter we had seemed like he just had 5 double espressos. He was so hyper and wouldn't take the time to answer questions about the menu or wine list. I ordered a very bland seafood pasta and asked for pepper flakes to spice it up a bit. I had to ask him 3 times before he remembered to bring them. Glad we choose a good bottle of wine or the whole meal would have been a bust.
One of our favorite meals on our 10 day trip to Italy. make sure to get the sautéed clams. Can't wait to go back
Perfect Italian restaurant slap bang in middle of the culinary capital of the Amalfi coast. Our family loved it here because we were treated like one of the family, nothing was too much trouble. The food was clean and simple, nothing contrived, just fresh ingredients that were left to speak for themselves. We love fish and Da Vincenzo gets fish although the meat options seemed plentiful. This town is about as competitive as it gets when it comes to food. Da Vincenzo is in the top 3 as far as we are concerned. Outside tables hard to get, so book early. Funnily enough we ate inside and liked having AC as it was boiling hot on that particular evening! 3 people, £100 inc wine, good value.
