“Great Restaurant!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 18, 2014 via mobile

We ate here for a rehearsal dinner. The food was very good and the service was impeccable. My husband had the fish and chips and I had an antipasto salad. Both dishes were very good and my husband said the cole slaw was the best he ever had. The seating for our group of 20 was a little tight but for a family or couple, it would be very comfortable.

“The Freshest Ingredients and Super Skilled Chefs Equal Excellence”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2014

We (family of 7) took the cooking class and learned to make ravioli stuffed with a ricotta, gorgonzola, mascarpone and parmesan cheese mix along with walnuts; we help make the sauce of basil, parsley, and tomatoes. We then made tagliatelle pasta with a porcini mushroom sauce coupled with veal scallopine. The appetizer was caprese insalata and bruschetta with pomodoro, olive oil, basil and parsley. We also make a zucchini flower stuffed with the same 4 cheese mix and then lightly fried tempera style.
Of course, making it all while sipping Prosecco didn't hurt, and then the wines were awesome over the big lunch meal.
Very scenic views from atop Positano in the town of Montepertuso!
It was so good that we ate there for lunch the next day after completing the high cardio walk of "The Path of the Gods!" The walk ended right above the town so the food tasted even more awesome!

“Ordinary”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2014 via mobile

We made a reservation with a party of 6 & ate on the outside patio- so I haven't seen the inside of the restaurant. I was a little disappointed by this- as having read so many great reviews about this place I wanted to get the full experience. The patio was very full & only had 2 or 3 waiters working the large area. The food was ordinary- nothing too special, and probably a little over rated. If you want to really enjoy a special meal then head to Da Vincenzo- trust me you won't be disappointed & you will eat the best meal in Positano :)
