“gorgeous find”

My sister and I loved this hotel. Teresa and her husband were delightful and generous hosts. The hotel is situated in a quiet part of Postiano with the main touristy town about a 10-15 minute walk away. It was a real haven in what can be a touristy part of Italy. The hotel/breakfast room looks onto gardens and views of the sea and there are sea views from some rooms I believe. Our room was the suite (thank you Teresa) and we had a lot of room for the both of us. It is super clean and the garden is beautifully tended to. The only negative I could say was the breakfast was quite carbohydrate heavy so a piece of fruit maybe a good addition. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

We spent five delightful nights in early October at this quiet, quaint and well located B&B perched between the beach and the top of the hill, centrally located and handy for restaurants, shops and buses but tucked in a small pedestrian road away from the crowds. We would like highly to recommend this place. It's not a luxury hotel, all shiny and full of facilities but if what you are after is a glimpse of what a family home in Positano could look like and a homey, cocooning feeling, you would be hard pressed to find better. The owners Nando and Teresa are warm and welcoming and treated us like family! Another reviewer mentioned that Teresa was the ideal nonna, and she is. With her warmth, her smile and delicious home made jams served at breakfast, she was worth the stay just by herself. Her husband, Nando was a humorous and a knowledgeable source of information about Positano and its surroundings and he makes a lip smacking morning coffee.. Both went out of their way to make our stay pleasant, including disregarding my atrocious murder of their beautiful language and choosing instead to encourage my efforts at communicating with them in Italian. I suspect that their English, while not fluent is more than adequately matched to supplying any required information though. Our quaint room was huge,(a bedroom part and a sitting room with sofa, table and chairs and television part separated by curtains) and very clean, with fantastic views from the flowered terrace. The room contained plenty of storage, some lovely pieces of family heirloom furniture, plenty of soft white towels in the well appointed shower room even if the shower itself was not very strong and was generally a sweet place in which to retire.and refresh oneself after a tiring day. All days in Positano are tiring for the mildly overweight and unfit, thanks to the huge number of stairs and steps needed to reach anywhere. Casa Teresa is no exception. It is wonderful but can only be reached after numerous steps. So, not accessible for anyone with serious mobility issues. For the rest, we came back much fitter after our stay!

I read the reviews here which made me book. What i found was different than most of the reviewers. Casa Teresa is far from the main beach and main area of town. It's a good 20 min walk. The walk to the hotel at night is through a dark alley, which although totally safe, it's really dark.

Teresa and Enzo were very nice and accommodating. The price is great. But i expected more based on other reviews.

I had a lovely stay at Casa Teresa the rooms were spacious, spotless and very nicely decorated, bathroom big and nice balcony with partial view. It is a good 10 minute walk to town and the big beach but a nice walk along the coast. Highly recommended, good value!

Casa Teresa is heaven on earth. It is a very friendly family atmosphere. Teresa is a joy. She welcomed us like family and made us coffee on arrival. Her husband and son (Enzo) were also extremely helpful. Enzo arranged for a porter to carry our luggage, and when we stupidly got off at the wrong bus stop, he rearranged the porter plan and sent the porter to meet us. I strongly recommend getting a porter. It is the best 10E you will ever spend.
The room was lovely, and spotlessly clean.
Breakfast on the terrace is blissful. Great coffee and croissants. The ceramic tables and tableware are stunning. When I asked Teresa where I could buy one of the plates, she gave me one as a present for our wedding anniversary, which we were celebrating there.
At the end of the trip Teresa recommended getting a taxi to Naples rather than the bus and the Circumvesuviana train. An excellent idea and well worth the money.
Our time at Casa Teresa was pure perfection. A++++++++
