Owner description: This stretch of coastline has often been described as the most beautiful in the entire Mediterranean. One after another, green and rocky mountains plunge dramatically into the Mediterranean blue sea. The famous Amalfi Coast road clings to the mountainsides revealing a succession of picture book views each seemingly more stunning than the one before. Not so many years ago much of this coast was only accessible by boat. Now it is a fashionable resort area which retains the charm of past times.

“Nice Beach”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

Very nice beach 10 minutes walk from the Spiaggia Grande through a beautiful path. More quite and picturesqeu than tha big beach with a tower at the edge. The water was clean but i was biiten by a jelly fish. We paid 10 Euros for the sunbeds 2nd row (14 for the 1st). There are restaurants on the beach but we did not try any because we had to leave. You need flip flops to walk on the beach!

“The Staircase to a great beach”

Home to wonderful Villas and a water view bar none. Be in shape because the stairs are a workout. Our villa just blew our minds.

The water was clear and clean. The only problem was the beach is all rocks, not sand and there were tons of jellyfish in the water.

“Best beach with great beach bars & service”
Reviewed June 13, 2013

Out of the mainstream of the marina beach and crowds, this beach is gorgeous! Not for the smooth round rocks you walk on to get to the surf, but the cool, Italian vibe that allows you to sun, drink, eat and simply relax looking at the beautiful sea and mountains of Positano. We visited no other beach while in Positano since this one was tops for what we seek. Beach chairs and umbrellas are cheap to rent (7 Euro for 2) and the time to go is early since the mountain shades the beach around 4:00 ish each day. We loved the pizza and panini's at Ferdinado's and their mojitos were our drink of choice with local, fresh lime and mint making them extra tasty.

This beach is more for adults and children would not really enjoy the rocks (there's no sand to play in). Those who had children seemed to regret it and did not look happy or relaxed.
