The hotel is in the main street of the city and very near of the beach.. just 10 minutes walking!

Andrea, the employeer of the hotel, is very nice and helped me a lot when I needed!

The room is clean and the Internet WI-FI has a good price. The breakfast is OK, and if you seat in the big table, you´ll have a nice experience!

However, the hotel is not flexible about rates. I wanted to leave one day before, and the owner didn´t allow me to pay just for 2 nights. I thought that they could be more nice about this.

The Hotel has an excellent location, right in the center of the town, where we could easily reach out to the food and clothes shops and stores. Also the buses were running right here in case it is your means of transportation.
Our room was tiny, however there other rooms available in the hotel. Despite its tiny size, very quickly we found it very cozy and welcoming. We had a WIFI in the room.
Morning breakfast was amazing - espresso, freshly baked pastries, fruits and oof course mozarrela with tomatos - in short, we would not miss any breakfast!
Hotel Personnel - GREAT! They were very helpful and understanding. They helped us with advice even through emails before we got there. If/when I ever go to Positano again, I woulde definetely stay at Hotel La Bougainville.

Room Tip: When somebody is in Posiatno, room is the least to worry about. Just try to be outside as much as possible!

After looking around a lot for a place in Positano, we took this without any certain about it.
We were greatly surprised when arrived.
Important things to now about Positano:
#1) You need a car to move around Amalfi Coast. The majority of hotels don't have parking and there are some private parking during the main road. You have to get a hotel with a parking near your hotel. Bougainville has one across the street.
#2) There is a street which has everything in Positano and takes you to the beach. Taking a car and have to park is a lot to do when planning to dinner or just shopping.
Bougainville is a 5 minute walk from this street. Very nice!
#3) There are a lot of nice restaurants in Positano away from the center, you would need to get a car to go to them, which is boring since you will drink wine and the roads are very tight.
Bougainville is very near 2 of the Best (Bruno's and Le Syrenuse)

Rooms are ok: clean with a very nice (and refurbished) bathrooms). Not very spacious though.
Staff was great and the breakfast is very nice too.

Overall, we paid a good price for a nice/regular room in a great localization.
Would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff and great communication (even prior to visit) when an early breakfast was arranged for our day of departure due to an early flight.

Our room was bright, large and fresh with a huge bathroom and a double shower with a lovely big window. I would definitely opt for a room with large windows or balcony as friends stayed in a smaller room with just a tiny window up high on the wall and it was a little prison cell like.

Great location, really close for bars, restaurants and the beach.

The only thing it was missing was a pool, which didn't bother us too much as we had friends staying in a hotel up the road with a pool so we frequently visited them :)
