“Cooking at La Tagliata”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 24, 2013

I had the great pleasure of staying for 2 wonderful weeks at La Tagliata in August 2013. While there we had cooking classes with Papa Luigi & his daughter Giorgia.
I am a professional Chef, trained in London & Paris so it was a delight to pick fresh vegetables from their incredible gardens, everything you need for traditional Italian "cuccina paisano"
We picked the eggplant & then made Eggplant Parmigiana, picked the beautiful tomatoes & prepared Bruschetta & Tomato Motzarella with fresh basil. Then we picked the basil & garlic & made " Giorgia "Pesto, and an absolutely wonderful sauce pomidoro (real Italian tomato sauce)
Luigi made the Gnocchi with Pesto & pomidoro. Grilled vegetables all freshly picked, Marrow & Zucchini.
We finished off with Giorgia's Tiramisu, & we ate the rest of the day away in the magnificent Terrace overlooking Positano, Of course there was plenty of local wine as well.
I cannot recommend this little jewel more highly, let me know how you enjoyed it
