On our recent trip to Italy this was one of the toughest hotels to choose. Either they were ungodly expensive or were a long ways from everything. Vittoria is a nice balance. Rooms are spacious, the view of the sea which was at a bit of an angle from our large patio was magnificent and the people friendly. Good breakfast too although if you come in towards closing time it might be a bit picked over. I still can't make scrambled eggs as cheesy as they did - yum. Front desk was helpful in finding restaurants and making reservations. If you follow the road the beach at Postino is about a 10 min walk although there is a short cut. The hotel does have a beach and restaurant down quite a few stairs which we unfortunately ran out of time to get to. If you are driving make sure you talk to the hotel about a reservation to park your car and where it is. Parking is located one sharp corner above the walkway to the hotel. I'd stay here again and have no trouble recommending it.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. This hotel is in Fornillo which is a walk away along the roadside from the main drag of a very busy Positano. The walk takes 20 minutes or so, but it is a pleasant easy walk. The hotel reception staff were helpful and pleasant. The room we had was large and clean. It had a pretty view overlooking Positano from the terrace. The breakfast included in our tariff was very good. The benefit of this hotel was the distance from Positano, far enough way, but not too far. It is worth noting there are 250 stairs (down) to the pebble beach of Fornillo from the hotel. The walk from the beachfront at Fornillo is short to the Grande beach of Positano. Rather than returning to the hotel via the 250 stairs, you can easily walk along the beachfront to the Grande beach & up through the main drag of Positano eventually returning to the hotel Vittoria via the roadside.

Room tip: This is overall a good hotel if you don't wish to stay right in touristy Positano.

We stayed here at the end of October. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the private balcony space. The breakfast was very comprehensive - Italian style with many pastries and fruits, bread etc. Not many "American" choices besides scrambled eggs, hot dogs & hard
-boiled eggs. The cappuccinos are delicious!
The views are amazing.

After being dropped off at main road, you do have to take your luggage down a few flights of stairs. They can arrange for a porter to take your luggage if needed. It's a 10-15 walk to the main village area from the hotel, and the walk back up can be tiring after a long day.

What a perfect place to spend a week in Positano! This place is easy to find when getting off the Interno bus. The check in process was wonderful and they let us borrow two adapters, free of charge! Breakfast each morning was delicious and the patio has a gorgeous view. The rooms had everything we needed - the water pressure in the shower was AMAZING. We slept with our windows open and enjoyed the mini bar. The hotel sits in the Fornillo side, but it is an easy and pleasant stroll to Positano center. One of our favorite restaurants, Next2, was only a 5 min walk from here though! And, spend time at Fornillo beach. It’s quieter and just as gorgeous.

very nice hotel that is not in the busiest area of positano, giving you some quiet. it is a 20 min walk from the center, however there are great restaurants within a 5 minute walk. there is a private beach some 300 stairs down from the hotel, which I highly recommend as it is quiter than the one at the main marina. the breakfast included is simple and basic. talk to Carla at the reception she can give excellent recommendations and can help with reservations!

Room tip: the big rooms on the top floor have a beautiful private terrace with a view of positano and the sea
