We stayed at the Hotel Marincanto for three nights and being tired, we decided to try their food since the view from the terrace was unsurpassable. The food was so good that we decided to eat two of our three dinners at their restaurant. The entrees were not only great but rather unique - 1) was fresh rabbit with baby vegetables anmd salted sponge cake, 2) sea bas in lime and mint marinade, red onions, gremolata, and Sardinia Carasan bread, 3) pork tenderloin with green apples & sweet potatoes layered. The desserts were unbelievable with one being a pistachio crème brulee w caco crumble & lemon ice cream and another a millefoglie pastry with mascarpone mouse & raspberries. The only hotel food that compares to this was the food we had at the Windsdor Court in New Orleans. We should have eaten every meal there since the weather was perfect to enjoy the perfect view with the perfect cuisine.
