My husband & I enjoyed our last evening in Positano at this excellent restaurant! It is situated up in the hills, with outdoor tables overlooking the cliffs and they provide a free shuttle. The food is excellent, a lot of choices for their nightly specials, we enjoyed lightly battered, stuffed sardines with cheese, Caprese salad, fresh Tuna, also a beef steak done in a tomato sauce, and finished with the lemon cake suggested by our waiter--again I stress: excellent! Frederico is a prized asset to the restaurant, he was very charming, caring, providing wonderful attention, making us feel special (something other restaurant servers could learn). Prices were very reasonable, our meal including a bottle of Proseco came to less than 90 Euros. We intend to make this a favourite place to eat when we return to Positano! Molto grazie Frederico, from Luisa!

We were a large group (10), for lunch on the patio at the end of May. The view of Positano from the terrace was fabulous and this was a great way to first see and experience Positano. The service was great and our food came out very quickly! Amazing food and good prices. We very much enjoyed our lunch here!

Best food we have enjoyed in all of Italy! I am dreaming of the home made pasta with clams, prawns and the fresh tuna of the day and pizza we ordered!! Ask for Federico at table 1- he will make your evening amazing! Great views and they will send a car - you can walk down to the beach. Grazi!

We heard about this family run trattoria from a local of Positano. It's no frills, away from the main centre of Positano and cheap in comparison to the prices you'll pay further towards the touristy area. They arranged for a car to pick us up from our hotel and returned us at the end of the night - it's up in the hills so great that they offer this service. Once we arrived, we were instantly welcomed by Frederico who seated us on the terrace. The specials were delicious and change all the time and you'll find the usual Italian favourites on the menu too. This is the sort of place you feel relaxed and at ease in and we would recommend it to anyone who feels like a change from the main busy area of Positano and also, for those who are on a bit of a budget.

One of the best meals we had in Positano. Great pizza and pasta and the house wine for 3 Euros was outstanding value and very drinkable. The venue itself is right at the top of Positano so a good chance to work up an appetite. It is a small trattoria with an overflow area in another room although there is a terrace for better weather. Its a no frills kind of place but sometimes that is just what is needed. The owner was a real character and had a good laugh with some of the customers, which adds to the ambience. On the negative side it did take a while to be served, but it was a busy evening. I would definitely go back if in Positano again.
