We LOVED our stay at Le Nereidi, from the moment we arrived Columba made us feel like family. Our room was spacious with a large balcony over looking Positano. What a gem of a place. Every morning we looked forward to our continental breakfast, which was delicious, Columba was helpful and gave us whatever information we needed. We arrived by car, which Columba took care of, I emailed when we booked to ask about parking and she said she would sort. When we arrived she called to have someone come pick our car up, so easy. The parking was €25 per night.
The property is on the side of a cliff so you must climb many steep steps to arrive at the door but those stairs were a great way to work of the the pasta. It’s a 5 minute walk if that to the bus stop where you can catch the internal bus to take you down to the beach or catch a bus to the other towns on the Amalfi Coast. You can walk down to the beach from Nereidi if your up for it but there’s around 500 + steps involved. All in all, amazing! We will most definitely return!

The view of Positano from the terrace was picturesque.. The room was comfortable and clean. Columba, the host, genuinely loves people and is hospitable and did her best to accommodate our needs as she had a nice Champagne, roses, and a card to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. The steps were a little challenging in hot August but was well worth it. The automated lift for luggage helped big time. Location wise, it is very good because the bus stop is within very short walking distance. Buy bus tickets to go down and go up, avoid taking taxis if you don't want to get taken advantage of!

I was recently in Positano for 4 nights and it was that we stay at Le Nereidi.

The B&B is just at the top of Positano. You can easily catch the interval bus down to the main Positano square where all the restaurants, shops etc are or you can choose to walk down (about 300 stairs). The walk down is actually quite easy and very pretty. Always the option of catching the bus back up!

The double room was perfect for 4 nights and was nice and spacious. The room had a balcony that looked over Positano out to the sea. The room had aircon comfy bed and plenty of room to spread out. The bathroom was large and bright.

Columba the host was superb! She greeted us on arrival and provided us with helpful information for our stay in Positano. Every morning Columba provided us with a delicious breakfast of fruit, cakes and cereal and juice, tea or coffee. She also assisted with any bookings of day trips, restaurants etc. Columba really did go out of her way to make our stay enjoyable.

We ended a wonderful trip to Italy at Le Nereidi. Nice comfortable room with a great view of Positano. Loved being able to wash my clothes and have dinner in. The breakfast every morning was wonderful and Columba is such a wonderful person. Great to sit out on the terrace in the evening and watch the sunset with a cool drink.

There is 170+ steps up from Via Marconi. It is about 1000 steps down to the beach and Via Marconi doesn't have sidewalks. Not many sidewalks in all of Positano. You just need to be careful. We saw the steps as a way to work out.

Thank you Le Nereidi! Our room was huge, very clean & we slept wonderfully. The views were fabulous, we really made the best decision when booking with you. Breakfast was lovely too, and served onto our balcony with fresh toast, croissant, tea, coffe, cake and biscuits. Plus cold beers, water & soft drinks waiting in the fridge every evening! This place is not 'out of town', Positano is really quite small & you certainly do not have to be a hiker to get around on foot. It's a vertical town but the road is rather a meander than a climb, though the steps are Steep but just take your time. The traffic is busy but slow as its a one way system, so you're walking on the road in parts but with little danger. There's bus stops for both Positano, and Amalfi & Sorrento a two minute walk away from Le Nereidi. Also a restaurant, bar & supermarket next door to said bus stops, useful for having a beer & watching the world go by after day trips to Ravello, Amalfi & Sorrento. We loved Bar Internazionale, great people & best coffee by far! The Positano bus is €1.30 into town and runs to around 11pm. The walk into the Center is 10-15 mins and all downhill, but there are plenty of views and restaurants all the way down so no need to walk to the seafront if you didn't fancy. We didn't use the boats as they were cancelled due to rough seas hence the bus. Honestly cannot recommend this place enough...I counted 160 steps up to the room, but with views like that why would you not want to stop & enjoy on your way? Worth every penny, and every step. Keep up the good work, thank you so much!!
