Description: I would love to review this great cafe in a premier position on the beachfront at beautiful Positano. It had an amazing position and made the best coffee we had tried in all of Italy ( after 3 weeks travelling)

Beach club $25 for a chair and add $5 for a towel ‍♂️. On top of that their restaurant will charge you a “cover” of 4 euros just to eat there even after you spent 30 euros in the beach club. What a joke. Food quality was good. They need to disclose or post the fee.

On our Amalfi Coast trip the past week or so, we ate here twice. Both times were for lunch.

The first time was for a visit of the town, where we walked around up and own the hillside looking at the vistas and the tourist shops. We decided to sit down after a lot of walking at a seaside table across from the beach here for a relaxing lunch.

The other occasion was a beach day, where we rented chairs to sit by the sea and even take a dip. It was one of the few sunny days and just barely warm enough to try the water.

On this day, we had the food brought out to the beach. Given there were only a few people brave enough to hit the beach (while it felt hot, I don't think it reached even 70 degrees Fahrenheit and the water was definitely chilly) and endure the outrageous chair rental of 25 Euros per lounge, plus another 5 Euros for a towel (and I'd hope to review this gouging of the tourist by this same operation, but they do not seem to be independently listed on TA as an attraction), the service was quick and efficient.

Both days we had one of their pizzas and beers. The day we sat at a table, in addition to one of their many pizza varieties, we ordered more, mostly shellfish.

Given the quality of these staples can vary greatly from place to place along this tourist laden coast, this place's food ranked among the best of this simple fare we had experienced. So, even if the beach rentals were exorbitant, at least the food and service were good on both days.

I had a delicious tropical lobster salad and their Hugo Spritz’s were by far my favorite. So much so I visited the sand beach bar for evening drinks. The dessert (amalfi lemon pastry cake) was excellent as well. It’s right in the beachfront path so great for a view and people watching. Nice restrooms and change rooms are adjacent to the restaurant.

We had the most incredible service here with happy and helpful waiters - prompt service and truly delicious food - I was 3 1/2 weeks in Italy and this is the only restaurant that was so good I went back a 2nd time in a 4 day stay! Loved it!

We have just been in Positano for a week and visited this place several times for either lunch, dinner or simply drinks. The location is right on the beachfront in an enviable position. The food and service was far better than previous reviews suggest. The staff were friendly and attentive, particularly Enzo who made an effort every time we visited to ensure we were happy with the food, drinks and service. The handmade pasta is what you would expect in Italy and is delicious in a variety of dishes this place has to offer. Give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.
