The Al Palazzo restaurant is completely outdoors (there may be an indoor portion we did not see), which might be a problem sometimes, but on the evening it was great. The night was a little cool but well-placed outdoor propane heaters made it very comfortable. Our service was exemplary. The wine list gave plenty of choices, and prices were more than reasonable. We had a salad, split a delicious pasta, and had individual entrees, all of which were very good. Our waiter asked if we wanted our pasta well done or al dente, and when we said the latter he smiled with a slight nod toward the table of other Americans who had just insisted that theirs be well done. I gave him my best "What can you do?" shrug. We finished with a wonderful sponge cake and lemon cream dessert and little cookies.
