We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful place built into a forested, quiet hillside with gorgeous views of Positano and the coast. Our spacious room had a small kitchen, well-stocked, including homemade limoncello, the family's olive oil and honey for a very reasonable purchase. We had our own terrace, as well as use of the larger shared terrace. Breakfast was a real highlight, Anna made delicious cakes and brioche each morning using their lemons, olive oil and honey. She also offered homemade jams and fresh orange juice from their fruit trees . Davide is a wonderful resource, and was able to help us with hiking routes, buses, and restaurants. We hiked the Trail of the Gods 1 day, starting at their property--we've hiked a lot, and this is truly one of the best, not to be missed. The entire property is extremely well cared for, with many thoughtful touches ( they supplied us with a beach bag and towels for example). There are a lot of stairs, but life in Positano involves stairs, and rewards with gorgeous views.

Just got back from a week in Rifugio degli Dei.....it's all been written before really so we can only confirm what other people have said. Yes there are stairs but you have to climb anywhere on the Amalfi Coast so no problem. They are a genuinely nice family who make you feel very welcome and assist where they can. I think by staying for a full week we really benefited from the tranquility and beauty of the location. We tended to eat out during the day during our Amalfi adventures then just sit on the terrace in the evening milking the view and having something light to eat. We paid for wi fi @ 10 euros for the week so we could keep in touch with our family and listen to classic fm from the terrace...very relaxing. We used buses, ferries, trains and our feet for transport, really wouldn't like to drive, it's a bit like a European Bombay if you get me...CIAO!

Room Tip: Only three rooms and all good

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at Rifugio degli Dei in April for our honeymoon. It was an amazing experience. Davide was very helpful with transportation schedules and local places to eat. It is off the beaten path and up what can seem like a million stairs but it is well worth the stunning view and quiet natural surroundings.

We stayed in a spacious apartment with a kitchen. The minibar was stocked with local wines and beers (and very cheaply priced). We sat out on the terrace and enjoyed the homemade lemoncello nightly. We will definitely come back and stay there.

I will note, like many others, that if you are not in good shape this is not the place for you stay...really you should not stay in positano as it is a physically challenging area with the steep grade of the roads and stairs. But if you are in shape you MUST stay at this place.

We had a wonderful stay here for 4 nights. Among all the amazing things, we enjoyed particularly the chestnut jam, honey and the special walnut cake for Easter, all homemade by Anna. Davide also recommended us the best restaurants in Positano. We had our own terrace with stunning views. The property is conveniently located at the beginning of the Path of the God. The room is very clean and quite.

We stayed here 4 nights in October and really enjoyed it. The beach at Arienza is wonderful and we walked up to Nocelle and hiked the Pathway of the Gods. Great experience!

The apartments are very pleasant. We made dinner in our place and it worked well. We enjoyed talking with the family and the views were gorgeous.

Room Tip: They are all lovely!

We spent 5 nights at the Rifugio degli Dei, and wish we could have stayed for longer. The property is in an absolutely stunning location, the views are breathtaking, overlooking Positano and along the coast all the way to Capri. There are a lot of stairs to the property, but I doubt you will find too many places to stay in Positano without stairs. It is only a 10 minute walk along the road to Positano. If you had a long time to wait for the bus, don't bother just walk, it's quite a nice walk. No path though you have to walk on the road. (check out the parking along the road, it is outrageous.

Our accommodation was superb, we had our own living area and kitchenette, which was stocked with homemade products from the property (minimal extra charge), fridge (stocked with beer, wine, lemoncello, all at very reasonable prices) and induction cook top, if you feel like cooking. A clean bathroom and good size bedroom with good cupboard space and storage. We even had our own private courtyard with table and chairs and sun loungers, perfect for sitting with a glass of wine to watch the sunset. The grounds were stunning, everywhere you looked things were growing, fruit, vegetables, flowers.

The Fusco are a lovely family, Mum, Dad and four lovely sons. All of whom were extremely welcoming and helpful. They will advise and book restaurants for you on request and give you lots of other helpful advise. It was more like staying with friends than a b&b.

If you are thinking of going to Positano I would definately recommend Rifugio deli Dei, it is a little slice of heaven.

We only had 3 nights here and it wasn't long enough! We absolutly loved it here, Positano was a 10 - 15 minute walk away with some lovely restaurants to discover. The accommodation was beautiful, the breakfasts were amazing - Anna's cakes were delicious. Davide was so helpful and the whole family just so welcoming and lovely. I really can't recommend Rifugio degli Dei enough. We had the most lovely time and can't wait to go back. We stayed at the end of October, we weren't too lucky with the weather but Positano wasn't too busy and we met some lovely people, and had great service everywhere we went, with people going out of their way to help us. A really special weekend. Thank you very much.
