Description: The Mediterraneo is a little family run restaurant where we will take care of our guests in a nice, romantic but unformal atmosphere. We try to keep traditional flavors and recepies as first of all we do like eating.Using fresh seasonal products, we like to cook fish specialties, vegetables and "al dente" home-made pasta, the same way our grandmas used to.The right location for pre-wedding lunch. It's mostly a nice place where you can sit, eat and drink well, discussing of art or listening to good napolitan live music. Enzo always organises art exibitions, books presentation, wine tastings and music evenings.

Ate here as well upon a recommendation. Very fast service right on the roadside. Food was delicious and downright hot, temperature wise. Pasta was the main dish with some pizza as well. During dinner, a gentleman playing the guitar sang songs, just the best way to see the Italian culture.

This place was our favourite in Positano! The atmosphere is gorgeous for dinner, which live music from a male singer with his guitar. It is also dog friendly!

There were several clearly marked veggie option but not many vegan options. However, they made me something off the menu - a lovely rigatoni with aubergines in tomato sauce. SO so yummy.

Highly recommend for dinner!

This is probably our favourite seafood based restaurant to eat in Positano. As a local, this says it all. Rodrigo has kept the cuisine authentic, simple and delicious and serves none of that tourist rubbish that you will find in other restaurants with a better view. You will be guaranteed to see locals from Positano and returning visitors every night.
The pasta is handmade by himself to a refined recipe and honestly, the scialatielli pasta is the very best we've had anywhere in town. My husband always has tubetti e totani (squid) because you can't go simpler and tastier than that. I love trying the other fish sauces as it's so hard to pick a favourite.
The restaurant is decorated by local artists and mostly depicts the Amalfi coast.
The atmosphere is fun and welcoming with the guys joking around and chatting with customers if you like, or being discreet if you prefer to have a quieter time. On Friday nights there is live entertainment with guitar and singing. We just keep going back again and again. Grazie Rodrigo e Lorenzo!

After a long day out we wanted somewhere close to eat and decided on Ristorante Mediterraneo. We walked past it everyday for four days so we thought, why not! It was definitely the best restaurant we ate at during our stay and we wished we had eaten there on our first night because we would have gone back every other night during our stay. The staff were friendly, service great and pasta hot and delicious.

In this restaurant the food was very good, fresh and served quickly. the portions are very large. we did not like the fact that the terrace is quite noisy, considering that the cars run on the street near your table, and the smell of gas is very hard to bear. I would recommend this restaurant only for the fresh fish and seafood.
