Description: The Mediterraneo is a little family run restaurant where we will take care of our guests in a nice, romantic but unformal atmosphere. We try to keep traditional flavors and recepies as first of all we do like eating.Using fresh seasonal products, we like to cook fish specialties, vegetables and "al dente" home-made pasta, the same way our grandmas used to.The right location for pre-wedding lunch. It's mostly a nice place where you can sit, eat and drink well, discussing of art or listening to good napolitan live music. Enzo always organises art exibitions, books presentation, wine tastings and music evenings.

The location is pretty good - you get the atmosphere of the water without the prices. Make sure you have pasta or seafood - you will be disappointed in the meat dishes, but remember - this is a fishing village - Scampi di diablo is exceptional

We had a fun night at this lively restaurant. We had walked by it on our first night in Positano while on our way to another restaurant. The entertainment hadn't started yet and it looked a little empty. But on our way back we witnessed the singing and energy of the place and decided it would be our dinner spot the next night. We had a lovely outside table and really enjoyed the upbeat vibe. The waitstaff, despite being busy, were super friendly. Pietro is a master at keeping the crowd entertained. Everyone around us was singing and having a great time (as were we). The food.... while it wasn't the best we had in Positano, it was still good and combined with the overall experience it was a great night.

My husband and I had mixed feelings about live music, but Pietro was wonderful, friendly, beautiful voice and took requests. He encouraged interaction and...when the waiters started handing out tambourines, shakers, maraccas, we were overwhelmed! We loved it! The food was great and we found out afterwards that Pietro moonlights in Scottsdale, Arizona during the winter and we have a second home near there. We will definitely seek him out. For a really fun experience, come here!

Great meal! Great atmosphere! Great service!!
Loved that there was a singer on guitar roaming the restaurant singing for us. The waiters suggestions for dinner were spot on! Would definitely recommend!

My first review of anything on Trip Advisor so hopefully this wil be short and sweet. The food is terrible at this place. Read the other reviews of bad food, because they are correct. There are much better dining experiences in Positano. The staff there as another review put it "juvenile" absolutely correct - wished I had read that before we went LAST NIGHT. If your looking for good food and service this is not the place to go.
